The rescue of Cerrus and Cora was featured on Episode 1 of TV3’s Animal Rescue

Cerrus and Cora were featured last night on Animal Rescue, and we wanted to give you all an update on how they are doing now! Cerrus the mare and Cora the foal were seized by ISPCA Chief Inspector Conor Dowling, and were transferred to the ISPCA Equine Rescue Centre in Mallow, Co. Cork. Cerrus was emaciated, but fortunately Cora’s body condition was not quite as bad. With some care and attention from the dedicated staff and volunteers at the Equine Rescue Centre, they both have done very well and put on the weight they needed. Cerrus is still learning to trust people again, but she is coming on each day. Cora is still young, and we think she will grow up to be a simply gorgeous pony. A file has been prepared in relation to this case.
