Siofra

Siofra is a very gentle 8 year old lurcher who has had a pretty tough life up until the time she came into our care. She had to have four teeth removed as they were dead and causing her a lot of pain. She was also very thin and her skin was in poor condition. However, after a long spell with one of our foster carers, and some dental attention by our super vets, she in now fit and healthy, has gained weight, has a nice shiny coat, and is looking for her forever home where she can happily recline after she has had a nice walk. Siofra is a very gentle dog who is good with people and loves human company. She is also very good with other dogs. Nothing makes her happier than running in open spaces especially if she is with other dogs who can run as fast as she can. She loves to settle on a recliner when she is in the garden and it is nice and warm. She is not too fond of going out when it is wet or cold and is much happier to settle on an armchair where she can see out the window. She woofs in her sleep. This starts with a long sigh and then progresses into happy little groans. She absolutely loves chasing flies, it seems to be her favourite passtime. Siiofra would love a home with another dog for company or a home where there will be someone with her for most of the day. She is spayed, chipped and fully vaccinated. She is living in a foster home and an appointment will be required to meet her, If you would like to offer her a home please contact 0871279835 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). We ask for a minimum donation of €130 to partly offset veterinary expenses, a licence and a collar tag are required to complete the adoption, and a home visit is required.
