Please FULLY READ THE DESCRIPTION before submitting an application. Meet Max, a dalmatian who is now looking for a home. Max is 3.5 years old and the home that he goes to will have to be a very special home with a family who are willing to show lots of patience and understanding, and should be willing to work with his current foster carer/trainer in order to make his transition from his foster home to his new forever home as stress free as possible. *His home should have no other dogs or cats *He must go to an adult only home *He must go to a quiet home *He will not be able for long walks...he should have short walks once or twice a day rather that one long walk. He has issues with his joints and will often limp a little bit or hold his front legs up. *His new owner must be willing to travel to his trainer in Wexford to learn how to manage some fears and anxieties that he has, and to learn how to keep him walking well on the lead, and to find out what to do if a dog were to bark at him and he decides to bark or lunge back. The right family will be rewarded with a dog who will show them complete loyalty, and shower them with love and affection. He did not have a good beginning, but with the training he has received he is learning to overcome many of his fears and anxieties and is proving himself to be an amazing, affectionate, and lovable dog. It should be noted that he is on special dalmatian food, and also that he will need ongoing pain management. Max is neutered, vaccinated and chipped (chip number 972270000257521, origin Ireland). If you are interested in adopting Max please submit an expression of interest form which can be found in the following link http://kwwspca.ie/adoption-process/ No calls please.
