Lucy (special case)

This 6 year old is not your typical exuberant collie but rather a shy and nervous girl. With a difficult past, Lucy has gradually learned to trust humans but is still a little wary of strangers and men in particular. Good on the lead and happy to go for her daily walks, she is accepting of affection but is equally content just to be in her own company. Lucy is also a bit nervous of meeting dogs so is probably best suited to being the only dog in a home. A quiet setting with a female owner would be preferred for her. She is house-trained.
