Lucy

Lucy is a sweet girl who is quite shy when she first gets to know you and would love a home where she can cuddle in the bed or on the sofa on someone's lap. She loves to be pet and cuddled. She will need ongoing house and lead training. She is vaccinated, spayed and looking for her forever home. She has so much love to give to the right family. She can be a little untrusting of other dogs so would prefer to be an only dog or in a home with a less energetic dog who would be happy to give her some space. ISPCA rescued dogs and puppies are fully vaccinated, treated for parasites, microchipped and neutered/spayed (when of age). You may be eligible to receive six weeks free pet insurance. We ask for a minimum adoption donation of €150 to help us cover some of our veterinary costs. A dog licence, collar and ID tag must be purchased before the final adoption takes place and a home visit will apply.

Cats and kittens at the ISPCA are fully vaccinated, treated for parasites, neutered/spayed (when of age), cat-flap and litter-trained. You may be eligible to receive six weeks free pet insurance. We ask for a minimum adoption donation of €75 to help us cover some of our veterinary costs.

All ISPCA rescued equines are fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and have passports. Stallions and colts are gelded before being responsibly rehomed. We ask for a donation rather than a standard set amount to help us cover some of our veterinary costs.

How to adopt?

1 Contact the member society or animal centre and arrange to visit them. To save time you can download and complete an application form below.
2 The member society or animal centre will give you information on adopting an animal, including the cost, and can help you fill out the right forms.
3 Following an assessment to match you with the right pet, you can meet the animals and reserve the animal you like.
4 A home visit will then be carried out to check your home is suitable for the pet you have chosen
5 When all the paperwork and checks are complete - you can take your new pet home! A follow up visit is usually carried out to make sure you and your new pet are happy!
