Amazing Angus! The poor old dog arrived to us over a week ago, he was completely love sick as there was a bitch in heat in the area. After doing his necessary pound time so that he would be legally ours for rehoming, he is now back in our shelter...we really thought someone would claim him but unfortunately nobody came forward so now, in his senior years, this poor dog wants somewhere to retire with someone who will love him. He’s a big gentle dog, easy to walk, shares his kennel and run with a small Jrt. We think he might have some Great Dane in him, he’s lovely, affectionate, gentle, kind...what more could anyone want. He’s probably about 8 years old so there’s plenty of life in him yet. Would anyone have a warm and gentle hand for stroking his ears, and a warm fire for him to lie beside? He’s house trained, neutered, chipped and vaccinated. Chip number 981020000574832, origin Ireland, DAFM reg number IPT200001C. If you would like to meet Angus he is living at our shelter near Athgarvan, Co. Kildare, opening times 1-3pm Monday to Saturday.
