Join Team ISPCA in this year’s Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon

We're calling on all women to walk, jog or run in this year’s VHI Women’s Mini Marathon, to join Team ISPCA to #GetTailsWagging! Help us raise vital funds to support our rescue work, caring for Ireland’s most cruelly treated and neglected animals.

This year’s event takes place on Bank Holiday Sunday June 2nd at 12:30pm in Dublin, so there’s plenty of time for you to sign up and start training! If you can’t take part on the day, there is a virtual option!

Invite your female friends, work-colleagues, and family to participate too, so we can help hundreds more animals across Ireland that are depending on us, remove them from terrible living situations, and provide them with a life worth living.

1. Visit the Vhi website to officially register here: to sign up today to receive your official race number. You must be 14 years of age or older. All participants will receive an exclusive medal and Vhi finishers t-shirt. There are lots of training tips, recipes, inspirational stories and more online.

2. Set Up Your Own Online Fundraising Page:  Through GivenGain, you can set up and personalise your very own fundraising page and share with work colleagues, friends and family. Register here: The online fundraising platform will help you reach your target goal and keep your supporters up to date with everything you are doing. If you prefer, or in addition, please request a printed ISPCA sponsorship form – email

3. Start Training!  We’d love to see and hear from you, your friends and family and even your pets! Tag and share your Facebook page or Instagram pictures of you in training. Help us spread the word by sharing our posts on social media. By taking part in The Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon, it is a wonderful way to get your friends and family to share your love of animals. The funds raised will help rescue and care for so many innocent animals, give them a safe place to recover and, when ready, we go about finding them loving new homes.

4. Complete our ISPCA Marathon Form here: to let us know you are taking part in the marathon and supporting the ISPCA and let us know if you would like us to send you an ISPCA T-shirt.

We hope that you will join TEAM ISPCA to support animal welfare, raising vital funds to support our work. Don't forget to invite your sister, mother, and your female friends, family, and work colleagues to participate or support you also.

Thank you so much!
