Awareness is the Key in Preventing Cruelty or Neglect to Animals

The ISPCA is calling on members of the public to be alert to the suffering and neglect of animals especially during the coming winter months when there is a lack of food and shelter. For the cost of one phone call you can change an animal’s life; imagine one phone call.

October 4th is the beginning of World Animal Week (Love your Pets 4th – 10th October) and the ISPCA is urging the public not to hesitate in contacting them when seeing an animal in a distressful situation looking emaciated or neglected.

Please do something about it by calling the ISPCA National Animal Cruelty Helpline on 1890 515515 and by alerting the ISPCA of their concerns. Many animals will die or will have to be put-to-sleep if we get that crucial call too late. Our mission is to prevent cruelty to all animals and we need to prevent suffering by getting that call before an animal is too weak to survive.

The ISPCA totally depend on voluntary charitable donations from members of the public to continue our work but our funds are insufficient to meet the demands on our services. We know times are hard but we need to ensure animals are valued and cared for, not neglected or abandoned when times get tough. Your support will help the ISPCA save, rehabilitate and re-home animals that are suffering now! Please if you can, make a regula donation today. Your support means they will have a safe and secure future.
