Luna was one of a group of ponies taken in to the ISPCA Victor Dowling Equine Rescue centre in Cork several years ago. All were grossly overweight and at risk of laminitis. Luna had been rerhomed but sadly returned through no fault of her own. This wonderful little pony has now found her forever home with a family who adore her.

Luna receives her first ribbons

“I got Luna a short while ago and she has fit right in with us. Luna can be a cheeky monkey at times and when ridden in the arena if Francis my son loses focus or forgets what he is doing she will walk straight to me and wait whilst I sort him out. Luna was incredibly well behaved at her first show with us and she got 3 rosettes! Luna has settled in so well with us that when it is time to come in she will lead Francis to her stable and wait for him to let her in and give her a cuddle and kiss before she eats her dinner! Francis calls her his ' teddy bear ' and would quite happily bring her to bed if he could, she has already been in the kitchen and was happily eating the contents of the fruit bowl when I discovered what they were up to. She is a super pony and we look forwards to many years of fun with her.”
