What a beautiful update about Lucy (formerly Lucinda) from her wonderful family!

"I just wanted to give you a little update on Lucy the lurcher who we adopted about a few weeks ago. After having to realise that her beagle sister was and still will be the alpha dog, she has settled in fine and has slotted right in. She is eating really well and has become a little food thief that stretches her neck like a giraffe to get to the "human" food on the kitchen counter. She enjoys her daily walks on the beach, running and playing with other dogs, and jumping into the sea. Once back at home she snuggles up with her two canine siblings, stretches out and sleeps for the rest of the day. She is such a gentle dog and is doing well on her "sit" and "down" and recall training. She has even made friends with our kitten after looking and barking at him for 2 days. We can't thank you enough for giving us Lucy and giving her a second chance to finally live the life she deserves...a full belly all the time, a nice warm bed, people that love her and canine and feline siblings to play with! Everybody should know that rescues are great dogs and not broken. Our three are all rescue mutts and we couldn't have asked for better ones!"
