Lark is a wonderful addition to her family four years on from Myshall rescue

Four years after Lark was found emaciated along with ten other horses on a puppy farm in Myshall, Carlow, she is doing fantastically well in a new home.

“Lark is the best addition to our yard,” said her owner, Sarah. “She always looks after her rider and she keeps the other horses sane.”

Lark is now fully recovered, and is one busy girl! She spends summers doing schooling shows, cross country runs and looking after the family’s other horses. In the winter she gets a well-deserved break in a big, grassy field.

“We couldn’t imagine not having her around,” Sarah added.
