We are delighted to see Hector so loved and cared for with the Rigney family.  Here is what his new family had to say:

"Hector is the best thing to ever come into our house. My children are the better for having him, especially my son (15). It's brought him out of himself - he just lives for him. We just adore him!! Thanks to all of you for saving him. He's the happiest little guy & we just love him!!! Thanks to you all for what you have done for him xxx". The Rigney family from Waterford.

Hector was rescued by ISPCA Inspectors Alice Lacey and David Walsh from a life of misery in South Tipperary where he was discovered with four other dogs living in horrendous conditions. Three adult dogs and two puppies were surrendered to the care of the ISPCA and immediately removed from the property. All five were underweight and the puppies were suffering with heavy worm burdens. Hector the Pomeranian had a severely matted coat, and all five were very wet and covered in mud. They received the veterinary care they desperately needed at the ISPCA and a badly needed bath.  They have all been responsibly rehomed where they are now loved and cared for.
