Father and son Rainbow and Gooseberry rehomed together in a guinea pig mansion

Rainbow and Gooseberry are a pair of father and son guinea pigs who were recently rehomed together in Dublin.

A family who were considering adopting rather than buying two guinea pigs contacted the ISPCA, and learned their new friends were waiting.

Rainbow and Gooseberry were renamed Sammy and Harry. They are settled comfortably in their stylish new house, feasting on hay, lettuce, pellets and cucumber.

“The kids love them and they are getting very comfortable with being held,” said new owner Alan.

It certainly seems like the kind of home they could get used to. Thank you Alan for the update!
