Duke loves curling up with his family’s other ISPCA rescue dog

10 OCTOBER 2018

Duke (previously called Tucker) is a gorgeous Saluki/lurcher who was adopted from the ISPCA National Animal Centre several weeks ago.

His family are delighted with the new addition. Duke is fast-friends with his family’s other dog Fudge, who was adopted from the ISPCA 14 years ago. The pair love to cuddle up together along with the family’s other little Chihuahua cross, Dotty.

“Duke is a true gentle giant,” said his new owner Kerensa. “He has settled in so well, and is taking everything in his stride. He has such a fantastic nature.”

Duke has great manners on the lead, and Kerensa said he is getting the hang of recall.

“He is much-loved with us,” she added.

Duke and his brother Toby came to the ISPCA together, and Toby went to his forever home in July.  Duke had to wait a bit longer, but we are delighted he has found such a gorgeous home with another ISPCA rescue dog!
