Charlie’s fabulous quirks are showing through in just a few months with his new family

Charlie was adopted from the ISPCA Equine Rescue Centre in Mallow, Cork last September. According to his adopter, his has settled wonderfully, and all of his fun quirks are showing through!

Adopter Jan described how Charlie has a “happy dance,” which he does when she comes home, or when he smells take-away chips in the house (which he always tries to eat).

“He knows what take-away chips are, and oh my gosh the excitement,” said Jan.

This sweet and mischievous dog has learned how to open doors. But he is also gentle, and gets on well with his family’s adopted cat.

According to Jan, Charlie is incredibly pup-ular when he is brought along to collect the family’s son from school.

“He’ll be surrounded by a gaggle of school girls, cooing a petting him. He’s very popular,” said Jan.

Charlie loves the outdoors and goes on walks and hikes during weekends.

“In a nutshell, we love Charlie,” added Jan. “It has been wonderful seeing his little quirks come out.”

Thank you for the wonderful update on Charlie!
