Jamborie raises critical funds

Leonard and Monica Devir and their family and friends showed a real love of animals by raising critical funds for those that have been cruelly treated.

ISPCA Inspector Kevin McGinley with Leonard & Monica Devir and their horse Hannah

Monica held a fantastic event, a musical Jamborie! Friends stepped forward to support with their musical skills and instruments to get all feet tapping and dancing.  The event raised a whopping, feet stomping €1,331.20 which is a vital life-line to animals depending on the ISPCA.

Monica sings while Raymond McGlinchey on accordian, Inga Bock on the flute and Denis Bonner supports on guitar.

Monica's big heart extends to not only her own family of horses and donkeys but to those that have been cruelly treated.

“Organising the event gave me much happiness to know I was helping animals, and we all had great fun.” Monica said.  The ISPCA cannot thank Leonard, Monica and all that helped and supported the event enough, without people like the Devir’s stepping forward to help we wouldn’t be able to continue our vital work.  ~Thank you~
