Hay Drive Horse Ride 2014

Do you want to help horses that have been abandoned, neglected or abused this winter? Would you like a fun way to raise funds for the ISPCA Hay Drive? Then why don’t you organise a Horse Ride in support of the ISPCA's Hay Drive?

Please help horses, ponies and donkeys by organising a sponsored horse ride, gymkhana or other fun activity to raise critical funds for the ISPCA. You’ll be helping foals like Tess…

Inspector O'Donovan discovered a young foal in a public green area and assumed she was dead. But to Lisa's amazement, she saw her leg move slightly and then her eye flickered; the foal now called Tess is a real fighter. Despite being extremely weak and emaciated, Tess has made a full recovery in the ISPCA's care.

Every year the dedicated team at the ISPCA rescue hundreds of equines like Tess who have been abandoned and left by their owners to starve and perish. In 2013 the ISPCA National Cruelty Helpline received and responded to nearly 2,000 equine cruelty calls. The equine intake to our centres increased by over 100%.

During the winter months horses need our help more than ever.  The economic recession is still having a devastating effect on thousands of equines throughout the country. Many horses, ponies and donkeys will starve this winter without our help, which is why we need your help to support our Hay Drive Horse Ride.

If you need any help with ideas or organising your event please do not hesitate to contact us for help, advice or a fundraising pack on 043 3325035 (ext. 3) or email
