Race day is Sunday this Bank Holiday Weekend!
Thank you to all the incredible women who signed up to Run to Rehome with us this year in the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon. We couldn’t do this without you, and are incredibly grateful for your support. By now we know you are clocking those kilometres, putting together a playlist and reaching for that running and fundraising goal.
We are sharing some information to help you get ready for race day so all you need to do is show up and run, jog, walk, have fun!
Collecting race numbers: When signing up, you should have selected a date, time and location to collect your official race number. This is essential for you to access the starting area on race day, and the number contains a tracking chip to get your race time.
The race organisers will send you a barcode by email or post, depending on how you signed up. This barcode allows you or anyone else who has it to collect your race number at the venue you chose. There will not be an opportunity to collect your race number on the day. If you haven’t picked up your race number at the venue you specified, you can collect it at one of remaining venues below:
Trinity College Sports Centre – Trinity College, Dublin 2
Friday June 1st, 1pm-8pm
Saturday June 2nd, 10am-6pm
Bags on the day: Bags no larger than A4 size are permitted on the 10k route, and they may be searched. You may also leave belongings in a clear plastic bag at the baggage area. Clear bags will be available at a number of collection venues.
Time and location of start/finish line: The race goes off at 2.00pm on Sunday, June 3rd. The race start line is on Fitzwilliaim Street Upper. The finish line is on Baggot Street Upper.
Team ISPCA Photo: Have a look at your email! We’ve been in touch with a time and meeting point to have a Team ISPCA group photo!
Get social with us: We’d love to keep up with you on race day. Use the hashtags #RuntoRehome and #TeamISPCA in your Twitter, Instagram and Facebook posts.
Thank you again to all of our participants!
If you're not running, you can still help! Visit https://www.justgiving.com/ispca to donate to one of our participants. Eight of our own staff and volunteers are catching a bus from Longford on the day, and they can't wait!Viewed 1053 times.
