Beethoven is a really happy and friendly guy. She loves attention from people, gets on great with other dogs and will make a brilliant all-round family pet. She is presently undergoing house and lead training and this will need to be continued with her new owners. She will need secure fencing in her new home and company in the form of another dog or people for most of the time. Regular grooming is also essential for a dog of this breed and any potential adopters must take this into consideration. Beethoven is one of a group of dogs that were signed over to a member of our Inspectorate. A well meaning individual had taken these dogs and more into her care after they found themselves in need of homes but the number of dogs in their possession quickly got out of hand so the ISPCA stepped in to assist the dogs.

Beethoven is currently in the care of the ISPCA National Animal Centre

Jessie is a fabulous little lady looking for her own forever home. She would be a ideal companion for a older person looking for a small dog for company who might alert them to strangers. She would also suit a home with children, provided they are not very young. She loves her comforts and would need to sleep indoors at night and preferably have the company of her human throughout the day. She is good with other dogs and would fit in well to a home with a friend. She is also quite good with cats and will adjust to a home with feline company. She walks very well on lead, is good off lead and is house trained. Jessie arrived to the centre pregnant, has since reared 5 puppies and took on two orphaned babies too. She is currently being a role model to two abandoned puppies in need of TLC. This wonderful little girl has given so much so deserves to be spoilt for the rest of her days. Can you or someone you know help this lovely little girl?

Bobby is a timid guy who needs a patient home to help him come out of his shell. He will need another confident and friendly dog in his new home to lead by example and show him that people aren’t all that bad. Given a little time and love from gentle new owners he is sure to come out of his shell and become a loyal and affectionate pet. He must have secure fencing in the garden of his new home and his house and lead training will need to be continued also. Sheba is an absolutely gorgeous dog. She is very friendly and greets everyone she meets like a lifelong friend. She will need an active home with experience of the breed and all that comes with owning a dog on the Restricted Breed List. While she is a pure pet, she is very bouncy when excited so she will need a home with teenagers and/or adults only. She walks fairly well on lead but this will need a little more reinforcement and obedience training is an absolute must for her with her new owners as she is quite boisterous. Sheba has the potential to make a truly wonderful pet in the right hands. Sheba’s situation was brought to the attention of the ISPCA via a call to our Helpline. Although physically fine, she was living in very poor surroundings without adequate shelter or water provision so she was surrendered to the care of the ISPCA.

Rhea

Rhea

Rhea is a gentle soul who has suffered greatly in her life, she really deserves her second chance. Rhea is very nervous of humans because of the way she was previously treated and needs a patient home with a lot of love to give. Since arriving at the centre she has come on very well and is now quite forthcoming with the staff she sees on a daily basis. With a little time she is sure to become very affectionate with her new owners. She must have secure fencing, another confident dog to learn from & mimic and a loving family preferably with no children who can let her gain confidence and come forward on her terms. She is so sweet and you can see the gentle and loving pet waiting to come out. She desperately deserves a wonderful forever home, can you help her? Roxy & Rhea were rescued from a backyard breeder with a number of other dogs. The others were in relatively good health but these two were suffering severely from mange.

Roxy

Roxy is a lovely little lady in need of lots of TLC. She is quite nervous although she is improving daily but she needs a home without children or with older kids used to dogs. She needs to have a confident, friendly dog to learn from and help her build trust and confidence in people. When she is in her kennel and she feels safe she is quite forthcoming with the staff that she sees on a daily basis and we feel that it will just be a matter of time once she has settled in a home before she becomes a happy and friendly pet. She must have a fully fenced and very secure garden where she can go out to run and play. She desperately needs a second chance and a little love and kindness in her life, can you help her? Neil

Neil

Neil is a lovely little boy looking for a home he can call his own. He is an affectionate kitten that doesn’t like too much noise so would be more suited to a family with older children or an adult-only household. He would like to be an indoor cat with a warm sofa to curl up on and perhaps the opportunity to explore outside during the day once he has settled in and been neutered. It would be nice for him to have another playful cat or kitten to share his new home with. Neil will make a fantastic pet in the right home and will be a rewarding addition to the household. Neil & his sister Sinead were rescued from a busy road having been dumped. Thankfully they were unharmed but we have no way of knowing if there were other siblings not so lucky. They were carrying a huge worm burden and after treatment and plenty of good food they perked right up.

Maisie

Maisie

Maisie is a quiet but friendly kitten. She loves a gentle hand to stroke her and will make a very sweet pet. She would love a home with another sociable kitten or cat to give her some company and a playmate. Maisie needs an indoor home with the opportunity to go outside during the day once she has settled in and has been neutered. She would suit a family with older children who are used to cats since she is very placid and doesn't like too much noise or activity. Maisie and her siblings were dumped at the centre in a sealed plastic container with no regard for their lives or wellbeing. All were severely dehydrated and overheated but thankfully came out of their ordeal with no lasting physical damage.

Peggy Sue

Peggy Sue

Peggy Sue is a fantastic little lady looking for her own forever home. She is confused and scared so her ideal home will be with adults or older kids who can give her a quiet home where she can come out of her shell. She has already become more trusting and will a little TLC she will make a great addition to her new home. She would thrive quicker if she could be rehomed with one of the kittens from her pod for company or with a existing confident cat. She loves to play with her toys and the other kittens and will make a very fun pet if given the time and space she needs to settle down. Peggy Sue and her 3 siblings were dumped in the garden of a member of public. The homeowner’s dog found them and unfortunately killed one of the kittens before she could save it. Thankfully the other 4 were unscathed and the owner kept them safe until there was a spot available to admit them. This kind lady left a donation for their care.

Duchess

Duchess

Duchess is a lovable little lady. She is so sweet she will make a wonderful family pet. She would fit in well to a home with children and equally she would be a fantastic companion for a retired person. She would love nothing better than a comfy bed in front of the fire and lots of delicious treats. She will need daily grooming but she quite likes it and so long as her coat in maintained, she is happy. She likes having all the attention to herself so would suit being the only pet in the household. She loves her home comforts and will best suit a home where she can be indoors most of the time and esp at night, with access to outside during the day after she settles in. She is fully vaccinated, neutered and treated for parasites. She is now ready to go home and start her new life. Can you find room in your home and heart for this beautiful girl?

Enola

Enola

Enola is a very pretty and playful kitten. She likes affection on her own terms and needs a laid back home with older children or adults only. She would thrive if she was rehomed with one of the kittens from her pod or where there is an existing sociable cat or kitten. Enola would preferably be an indoor cat who can explore outside to her heart’s content once she is comfortable in her new environment and has been neutered. She will make a very easy and undemanding addition to the household. Enola was the product of an accidental litter. Her mother’s owners contacted the ISPCA for assistance and were placed on our long waiting list. They managed to home 2 of Enola’s siblings themselves and had her mother neutered as soon as the kittens were weaned. When we had the space Enola was admitted to the centre with a donation towards her care.

Glen

Glen

Glen is a gorgeous young man looking for his own family to love him. He is a dream boat, such a fabulous lad. He is so friendly, he loves the company of his humans and with other dogs too. He would be a fantastic family pet and is waiting so patiently for his chance, he has been overlooked so many times, he has grown up here from a small puppy. He is a all rounder and would be ideal for a active family who love the great outdoors, he would love some trekking and hill walking, right up his alley. He walks beautifully on lead and is fantastic off lead. He is currently being fostered by a staff member as he gets so stressed in kennels, who could blame him having spent 7 months in kennels now. Please can you help Glen finally find his own forever home?

Velvet and Omar

Velvet and Omar

Velvet and Omar are two fabulous dogs. They are friendly and affectionate and will make fantastic pets. They need a home together as they are so bonded. Secure fencing is a must in their new home and plenty of exercise. These two may not be suitable in a home with very young children due to Omar’s amputation and as they can be bouncy. Their house and lead training will need continuation with their new owners. We are sure that Velvet and Omar will make loving and devoted pets to a lucky new owner. Velvet and Omar were rescued together from a property where their living conditions were very substandard. Omar had an old injury to his back leg that had healed wrong and become deformed. On veterinary advice, his leg was amputated after he came into our care and he is adapting brilliantly to life on three legs.

Cookie & Jewel

Cookie & Jewel

These two little darlings are looking for their forever home. Rabbits can make great pets and these two can be house pets if desired. Both are litter tray trained so they would adapt well with the right instruction. They will be rehomed together. They will need a home where they are given the daily attention to keep them social. Rabbits feel the cold just like us so they will need a well insulated hutch that is off the ground. They will need a run/pen also where they can run and play. Both are neutered, vaccinated and treated for parasites. They have grown up at the centre and are very well handled. They would make fantastic family pets but cannot be the sole responsibility of children. They are gentle and loving animals and are companions and friends and we are appealing for a home where they will be rehomed together to live out the rest of their lives in a wonderful forever home.

T-Bone

T-Bone is a fabulous boy looking for his own forever home. He is adorable, loves lots of attention, cuddles and a good long walk. He is playful and loving and will require a home with secure fencing, a adopter with experience of the breed and knowledge of restricted dogs as he falls under that category. He is strong on the lead & is currently receiving training to correct this but in the right home this boy will thrive and make his new adopters very happy indeed. He would love to be adopted with his buddy Tupac if possible, but were are open to any offer of a suitable responsible home.

Brandy

Brandy is a cracking little lady looking for a active family to take her home. She loves lots of attention and gets on well with other dogs, ideally her new home will have another playful dog for company and a secure yard to play in. She cannot be left alone for prolonged periods and will require plenty of obedience training to help her grow up into a settled and well mannered adult. She is so friendly, she would make a ideal family pet provided the children have experience with dogs and preferably are over 8 yrs. of age. Solar and Fluffy

Solar and Fluffy

Solar and Fluffy are stunning girls looking for a retirement home together. They must be rehomed together as they have lived together all their lives. They are great dogs with lovely temperaments and would be ideal for an older active couple. They are available under the Cara Programme for persons over 65. They will require a secure garden with a good amount of exercise. They have lived with other dogs and cats and could be rehomed to a household with existing pets. Solar and Fluffy will make brilliant pets and companions in their new home. Are you willing to give them the home they deserve? Ash

Ash

Ash is a lovely young dog. He is a little reserved at present but is coming out of his shell with socialisation in the kennels. He will require an active home with secure fencing and owners who are willing to give him the time he needs to settle into a new environment. He would be best suited to a moderately active home with only adults or a family with older kids. He gets on fabulously with other dogs but could be a single dog provided he has company most of the time. Ash deserves a new home that can show him what life is all about; can you give that to him? Ash and several other dogs were seized by a member of our Inspectorate. They were all physically well looked after but had begun to breed uncontrollably and so for their best interests they were taken into the care of the ISPCA.

Ash is currently in the care of the ISPCA National Animal Centre

Holly

Holly

Holly is a beautiful young girl. She is a little shy around people at the moment but is fantastic with other dogs and will need a friendly and confident canine companion in her new home to show her there is nothing to fear from humans. She will no doubt thrive with patient and gentle new owners. She would be suitable in a family with children aged 11+ or an adult only home and secure fencing is a must. She is in the process of lead and house training but this will obviously need to be continued with her new owners. Holly didn’t have a great start in life but she is still young and just needs someone to take the time to show her how amazing and fun-filled life can be; are you that person? Holly and several other dogs were seized by a member of our Inspectorate. They were all physically well looked after but had begun to breed uncontrollably and so for their best interests they were taken into the care of the ISPCA.

Elsa

Elsa

Elsa is a lovely lady looking for her own forever home. She has had a traumatic life so far and not finally she is safe and recuperation and will soon be ready for adoption. She is so gentle and sweet, she adores human interaction. She loves nothing more than her walks and walks so gently on lead. She is good with children and is a favourite with our regular dog walkers. She is good with some dog and will need to be tested prior to adoption if there is already a dog in the home. She would be a ideal pet for a retired couple or person looking for company who would then get on well with visiting family & grandchildren. Can you find space for our girl? Elsa was removed from property where she was grossly neglected. She was emaciated on arrival and has yet a way to go to fill out to her ideal weight. She was also heavily matted and in discomfort. Thankfully she was saved in time.

Moss

Moss

Moss is a beautiful young dog. He is a little shy but we are sure that given a little time and love in a new home that he will quickly become a confident and affectionate pet. He would do better to have another friendly dog in his new home to help him relax and settle in. Preferably his new home will be adult only or with children over the age of 11 who understand that he will need a little space before he becomes the friendly pet he has the potential to be. He is currently undergoing house and lead training but this will of course need to be continued with his new owners. Moss is such a special boy, do you have space in your heart for him? Moss and several other dogs were seized by a member of our Inspectorate. Spud

Spud

SPUD came into the care of the KWWSPCA having apparently been involved in a car accident - he still has a nasty wound on his right side although it is getting better and he is no longer troubled by it. Spud is just the sweetest, friendliest little man. It is very hard to take a good photo of him because he is always looking to come up to you to get a rub, and his tail is in perpetual motion. Spud would be a certainty for any dog show competitions to find the dog with a waggiest tail!! He is affectionate and gentle, great around children, very well behaved and just wants lots of fuss and to be loved. He will have a huge amount of love to give in return. He has been vaccinated and wormed, and he will be neutered very shortly (before being re-homed) but he is now available to be booked for a home. So why not come down and meet Spud at our KWWSPCA Animal Shelter in Athgaravn, just outside Newbridge (on the road to Twomilehouse), which is open every day (apart from Sundays) to visitors from 2.00pm to 4.00pm without the need for an appointment. If you would like more information about Spud, then please private message us through our Facebook page, call/text 087 9133923 (reasonable hours only) or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). We ask for a re-homing fee of €100 when re-homing a dog to partly off-set their veterinary and other costs. A home check is required.

Frank is a young terrier cross who is in need of a new home. He was surrendered by his elderly owner who was not able to keep him due to her age and immobility. He was previously re-homed but returned through no fault of his own. Frank is a friendly boy who gets on well with the other dogs in the Shelter. He is finding life stressful in the hustle and bustle of our kennels and would dearly love a nice warm house to call his home. Frank has been wormed and vaccinated and will be neutered soon. Tickles

Tickles

Beautiful Tickles is sadly a little shy of humans at the moment but given time in the right hands we are sure she will make a great pet. She would benefit from having another friendly kitten in her new home to play with and give her a confidence boost. She would suit a family with children who understand and are used to having cats around so that Tickles is not put under too much pressure when she first gets home. She loves to play with her siblings and will be a really fun cat to have around. Tickles must be kept inside until she is neutered at 6 months of age, after which we are sure she would love the opportunity to explore her neighbourhood during the day as long as she is safely home at night. Could you be the forever home Tickles deserves? Tickles and her siblings were found scared and abandoned by a member of the public. When we had space in the cattery for them they were brought in to find new homes.

Furby

Furby

Furby is an absolutely stunning kitten who is unfortunately a little scared and nervous at the moment. When she has settled into a new home with gentle handing and lots of love she has the potential to be a very loving and affectionate pet. She would need another friendly cat or kitten in her new home to help her settle in and to give her a bit of confidence and would suit a quieter environment with older kids who will not spook her or be too demanding of her in the first few weeks after she is brought home. Furby is such a gorgeous girl who would love the chance to become a loyal and friendly pet. Furby and her siblings were found scared and abandoned by a member of the public. Jaguar

Jaguar

Jaguar is a gorgeous kitten. He is semi-feral and would suit an outdoor life where he has food, a safe, warm bed to sleep in and can come and go as he pleases. He would make a great mouser on a farm or somewhere rural. We would like him to be rehomed with another cat to give him some company in his new life and he will need to be kept somewhere secure in his new location for at least 2 weeks while he gets to know his surroundings. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance cat that is happy to do his own thing then Jaguar is the guy for you. Jaguar, his siblings and their mother, Cougar, were removed from a property by a member of our Inspectorate. They were suffering with cat flu on arrival but are now healthy and looking for a new start.

Eva

Eva

Eva is a beautiful young tuxedo cat in need of a very special home. She is super friendly and affectionate with both cats and people and would make an ideal pet for a family with children of any age. She has a deformity to her front leg and while this does not cause her pain or hinder her she would probably be best as an inside only cat. She will be neutered and vaccinated before she is ready to go home. Eva is so sweet and loving; she really is the perfect pet and deserving of a second chance with a family who will love and cherish her. Eva was brought in by a member of our Inspectorate after a call to our helpline. It was clear that Eva had some sort of old injury or deformity to her leg so she was brought to the NAC for assessment and any treatment that she may require.

Victoria

Victoria

Victoria is an absolutely gorgeous looking cat looking for an undemanding outdoor home. Due to the circumstances from which she was rescued she is nearly feral and would suit a home living outdoors with a safe, warm bed to sleep in and plenty of food. We would love her to be rehomed with another cat for company as she has most likely never been without another feline in her life. She will need to be kept in a secure area for a minimum of 2 weeks in her new home to help her get to know her new surroundings and then she may be let out to do her own thing. Victoria will be ready for a new home as soon as she has been neutered. Victoria and numerous other cats were rescued by a member of our inspectorate from horrendous conditions. They had been abandoned in a locked house with no food or water and all were starving, emaciated and very traumatised.

Victoria is currently in the care of the ISPCA National Animal Centre

Sunray

Sunray

Sunray is a gorgeous kitten who needs patient new owners to love him. He is presently quite shy so does not readily approach people but will allow himself to be petted for short bursts at a time. He will need to be rehomed with another cat or kitten to give him a bit of a confidence boost in a new environment. If his new owners treat him with patience and gentleness we are sure that he will come around and grow up into a friendly and loving adult cat. He must be kept indoors in his new home until he is old enough to be neutered at 6 months, after which he would love to be allowed to come and go from the house as he pleases during the day. Could you give Sunray the love he so deserves? A member of the public called us regarding a pregnant cat she had found. It was agreed that we would take her and her kittens into the NAC when a space became available and find them new homes.

Sleet

Sleet

Sleet is a very playful kitten who loves other cats. He is quite wary of people at the moment but we think, given the chance to settle in and feel comfortable in his new home, that he will become a friendly adult cat. He will need another friendly and confident cat in his new home to learn from and plenty of patience and playtime from his new owners. As with all kittens, he must be kept inside until he is neutered at 6 months of age, then he would relish the chance to explore outside. Alternatively, once he has settled into his new home and been neutered he may live as an outside cat as long as he is well fed and has a safe, dry bed to curl up in. Sleet would love the chance to develop into a loving pet; are you willing to give that to him? A member of the public called us regarding a pregnant cat she had found. Fair

Fair

Fair is a very elegant black kitten who needs a little TLC to help her become a friendly and affectionate pet. She is a curious little girl and is always interested to see what is going on around her although she does not like to approach people. She will need a home with another confident and friendly cat or kitten to bond with and help show her that humans aren’t so bad. She must be kept indoors until she is neutered at around 6 months of age after which she would love to be allowed to go outside and investigate her territory. She would also be suited to an outdoor life once she has settled into her new area and been neutered, provided she has a warm, safe bed and plenty of food. Can you give Fair the chance at a good life she deserves? A member of the public called us regarding a pregnant cat she had found. Sunshine is a very pretty kitten with unusual markings. She is unfortunately very nervous around people but she is young enough that with some gentleness and patience from her new owners she will grow into an affectionate cat. Conor

Conor

Conor is a very cute kitten with an adorable little white tuft on his tail. He is unfortunately quite wary of people, possibly because he did not receive correct handling when he was a young kitten. With some time and gentle patience in a new home we are sure he will grow into a friendly and playful adult cat. We would love for him to be rehomed with one of his siblings or another friendly cat or kitten to give him a bit of a confidence boost and playmate in his new environment. As with all kittens, he must be kept inside until he has been neutered at 6 months of age after which he can be allowed outside to investigate the surrounding area. Conor is bursting with potential if someone will give him the chance. Conor and his 3 siblings were put on our extensive waiting list when a member of the public called asking for help with them. Sven

Sven is an inquisitive little kitten who is unfortunately a little shy around people at the moment. Kimmie came into the care of the KWWSPCA recently from the Kildare Dog Pound. She has been neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped, and is available for immediate re-homing. A secure garden is essential and a home check will be required as always. Monica

Monica

Monica is a gorgeous kitten who has had a rough start in life. Because of this she is a little shy of people but if you give her a little time she is sure to come out of her shell. Like all kittens she is very playful and fun-loving. She would do well as an inside cat in a quiet family environment but could live outside once she is neutered as long as she is well fed and has a safe, warm & dry bed to sleep in. Damon

Damon

Damon is quite a timid kitten who would suit an undemanding home where he can do his own thing. He would be an excellent mouser and it would be great for him to be rehomed with one of his siblings for company. He loves to play and is very inquisitive when he has new toys in his pod. All he needs is a safe, warm bed to sleep in and good quality food to keep him healthy. It is possible that once he settles into his new home and gains in confidence he may become more people friendly. He will need to be kept inside in his new home until he is neutered. Damon and his siblings have been in the cattery since they were very small with no interest; will you give Damon a chance to become the happy, relaxed cat he has the potential to be? Denis

Denis is a gorgeous young cat. He is very social with other cats and we would love for him to go to a home with another friendly cat to give him some company and confidence. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances from which he was rescued, he is a little wary of strangers but he has come on leaps and bounds in our care and is now a very affectionate cat with people that he knows. Denis would suit either an indoor home with the opportunity to explore outside during the day once he has settled in or an outdoor home provided he is well-fed and has a safe, warm and dry bed to curl up in. Denis was brought to the centre along with a number of other cats by a member of our Inspectorate. Tinkerbelle

Pretty Tinkerbelle is an easy-going kitten who would be a loving family pet. We would prefer her to be rehomed with another kitten from her pod to keep her company and give her someone to play with. Like all kittens she loves to play but when she is tired a nice warm lap makes the perfect bed. She must be kept inside until she has been neutered at 6 months old and then she would like to be able to go outside and investigate the surrounding area during the day as long as she is always able to come back in to a warm, dry bed. Ernie is just the most gorgeous Spaniel x who is one of the friendliest, happiest dogs to come into our KWWSPCA shelter. Rover is a 3 yr old male collie, a handsome, healthy, highly intelligent fella who is very responsive to commands, walks well on a lead and is good with other dogs. Rover needs a new home through no fault of his own as tragically his young owner passed away, Rover had been with him since he was a pup. OLIVER

OLIVER

A lively happy chap, full of fun and energy. Gets on well with the other dogs in his foster home, especially if they play with him! Would suit a home where he would get plenty of daily exercise, but no very young children as he is lively. Walks well on a lead, and learning to come when called. Chutney

Chutney

Chutney is a striking young cat who needs an understanding home. Like all kittens she is very inquisitive and playful though she is a little shy of humans at the moment. She needs a home with another friendly cat or kitten to play with and give her a bit of confidence in her new environment. With a little gentle handing and encouragement with lots of human-kitty playtime we are sure she will become a very affectionate and loving adult. She must be kept indoors until she is neutered but then she would love to be allowed to go outside and explore the locality. Gorgeous Chutney is just waiting for a chance to be a much-loved family pet; will you give her that chance? Chutney and 3 other kittens were brought to the NAC suffering severely with cat flu and eye infections. After extensive treatment they are now healthy and ready for new homes.

Chutney is currently in the care of the ISPCA National Animal Centre

Chilli

Chilli

Chilli is a beautiful kitten who needs a new home with another friendly cat or kitten to give her confidence and a playmate. She is quite nervous around people at present but will no doubt settle to be a loving and loyal pet once given a little kindness and patience in her new home. She will need to be kept inside until she has been neutered and recovered from the operation and then we are sure she would love to be able to go outside and have a look around during the day. Poor Chilli has had a pretty awful start to life; can you help her recover her confidence? Chilli and 3 other kittens were brought to the NAC suffering severely with cat flu and eye infections. Lucy

Lucy is such a cute and friendly little dog. She will make a perfect family pet and could live with another dog or singly once she has company most of the day. Sassy

Sassy

Sassy is a sweet and gentle soul looking for a new loving home. She is very friendly and affectionate and will be an ideal family pet. She is currently in the process of house and lead training which will need to be continued with her new owners. She will be suitable in a home with another friendly dog or as a single pet in the right household. A secure garden is an absolute must as well as plenty of exercise as this is a fairly active breed. Once she has gained enough weight after her previous ordeal she will be ready for a new home and we are sure she will make a fantastic, affectionate pet. Sassy came to the NAC in very poor condition. It was evident that she had received very little care and attention prior to her arrival. She was severely emaciated and infested with ear mites. It was a long journey to recovery for her but she has recuperated well.

Jack

Jack

Jack is a super little man looking for a family to love him for his whole life. He will be a brilliant pet and is so friendly with all the people and other dogs he meets. He would do well either as a single pet or with the company of another friendly dog as long as he is not left alone for prolonged periods. As with all puppies he will need continued obedience, house and lead training in his new home and a secure garden to romp around in. Jack will be a really fun pet; could you give him a new home? Jack’s mother, Portia, came to the NAC pregnant after she and 12 other dogs were removed form a puppy farm requiring treatment and on-going care. They were all suffering huge worm burdens and flea infestations, badly matted coats and infections.

Gizmo

Gizmo

This gorgeous little guy is GIZMO, a Terrier x who originally came into the care of the KWWSPCA from Kildare Dog Pound after spending his regulation five days there during which time sadly no one came forward to re-claim him. Gizmo has been in foster care for the last few weeks and now we are looking to find him a permanent home. He is about 2 years old and a typical terrier, full of fun and energy, who loves to play and enjoys his walks. He needs a home with an owner willing to put in some on-going training with him – an experienced dog owner who can give him boundaries. He likes other dogs, especially females, so a home with another female dog would be ideal. If you would like to find out more about Gizmo or offer him a permanent home, then please private message us through our Facebook page, call/text 087 9133923 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Ted

This is Ted, a Spaniel X Collie pup who is approximately eight months old. This little boy is recovery from a very bad beating and suffering from malnutrition. When he came into the care of Roscommon SPCA he had an injury to his neck, injured shoulder, and several other injuries to his body. He was absolutely terrified of people and could not stop trembling. After excellent veterinary care he is now well on the road to recovery. Ted is living in doors and is very clean, he will need a home where someone is at home all the time. He is still a puppy and therefore will do all the things a puppy does. He will need on going training. He is flea and wormed, first vaccination and micro chipped. He is too underweight at the moment to be neutered. He will need a very secure garden.

Kate

Kate

Kate is a really sweet and affectionate young cat. She is a real lap cat and loves to be cuddled. She would be a fantastic companion for a single person or a great family pet. She needs to be an indoor pet, perhaps with access outside during the day once she has settled into a new home. If you’re looking for an affectionate, loving cat then Kate is definitely for you. Kate and 9 other cats were seized from a property by a member of our Inspectorate. Naomi Catbell

Naomi Catbell

Naomi Catbell is a stunning girl. She is a little shy at present, no doubt because of the way she was treated prior to arriving at the NAC. However, she is very interested in her surroundings and with the company of another cat in her new home it will not take her long to come around to her new owners. She would do best in a quiet home with no young children and would be suited to and indoor or an outdoor home as long as she is well fed and has a safe, warm bed to curl up in. Naomi Catbell has had the worst possible start to life; could you show her how life is meant to be? Naomi Catbell and 9 other cats were seized from a property by a member of our Inspectorate. All the cats had been badly neglected and were severely emaciated on arrival but after several weeks with a proper diet and lots of TLC they are ready to be rehomed.

Naomi Catbell is currently in the care of the ISPCA National Animal Centre
