Whitey

Whitey

  • Date uploaded: June 19, 2013
  • Breed: Domestic shorthair
  • Viewed: 17 times
  • Age: 2 months approx
  • Sex: Male

This short-haired little boy is mainly white, with 3 black spots on his body and black markings on his head and face. His tail looks as if it was borrowed from another cat as it is almost totally black with a white tip. This little man loves his food. His nose seems to be almost permanently covered in cat food! He is a playful cat, loves his toys and is especially adept with the computer keyboard and mouse. When he’s tired he loves nothing more than to climb up on his human’s chest and give kisses and hugs until he falls asleep, purring loudly. He is excellent with using the litter tray and although not the most adventurous of his litter mates, he is often the instigator of games of tag or wrestling. If you would like to adopt Whitey, please ring Mary on 087-6577589. A homecheck will apply. Please note that The Cat and Dog Protection Association requires cats to be kept in the house overnight throughout their lives, and to be provided with a litter tray.

Tiny

This is the smallest of the litter – a black, long haired little boy with 4 white feet and a white bib and a little pink moustache. This is a really gentle young man who gives the most delightful hugs and kisses without the use of claws. He loves to sleep in the arms of his humans, often on his back with his eyes still open and will reach up and touch your face and stare into your eyes – he is a total charmer. He now eats just as well as his bigger brothers and sisters and loves to sit in his cardboard box and defend it from the others. In spite of being the smallest he plays just as hard as the rest and was one of the first to master the use of the litter tray. If you would like to adopt Tiny, please ring Mary on 087¬-6577589. A homecheck will apply. Please note that The Cat and Dog Protection Association requires cats to be kept in the house overnight throughout their lives, and to be provided with a litter tray.

Sluggie

Sluggie

  • Date uploaded: June 19, 2013
  • Breed: Domestic shorthair
  • Viewed: 19 times
  • Age: 2 months approx
  • Sex: Female

Sluggie was the biggest of her litter from the start and her tummy got bigger and bigger and so she got known as the ‘Slug’. But she’s not fat now – she’s just a well rounded, fluffy young lady – almost totally black with four white feet, a white bib and tip to her tail. She is as energetic as the rest of her family, but is sometimes a little clumsy which her humans think is very funny. It took her a while to discover that glass doors can’t be jumped through, but she has mastered the climb to the top of the scratching post. Her toilet habits are excellent now that she knows to walk forward out of the litter tray and not sit down straight away - when her pretty long hair was a bit of an issue. If you would like to adopt Sluggie, please ring Mary on 087-6577589. A homecheck will apply. Please note that The Cat and Dog Protection Association requires cats to be kept in the house overnight, and to be provided with a litter tray.

Dolphie

Dolphie

Dolphie has a Black/tabby body with an all black tail and an unfortunate marking on her top lip that led her to be called Adolph until her foster family realised she is a little girl. She has more black on her legs than her brother Dippy and she is in no way a feminine young lady. She enjoys rough and tumble with the rest. She eats well – normally having some food left on her face that has to be washed off or kept for a later snack and her toilet habits are also very good. Her favourite toy is a mouse with a very long tail that she thinks is a very dangerous snake which has to be killed at every opportunity. She also likes hiding in shopping bags and cardboard boxes. If you would like to adopt Dolphie, please ring Mary on 087-6577589. A homecheck will apply. Dippy

Dippy

A black and white, short-haired boy – now the largest of his litter and probably the most adventurous. He has a mainly black upper body and head with a white off-centre stripe on his nose and a white tip to the tail. His legs are mainly white – with black ‘knee pads’. He has ‘tabby-type’ highlights – with visible stripes on his tummy. He is the leader of the pack – leading random charges from one room to another and then back again and will push his brothers and sisters out of the way to get the prime sleeping spot on his human slaves. He is also excellent in his toilet habits – a self-confident young man who will be a very striking adult cat. If you would like to adopt Dippy, please ring Mary on 087-6577589. A homecheck will apply. Please note that The Cat and Dog Protection Association requires cats to be kept in the house at night throughout their lives, and to be provided with a litter tray.

Jenny

Jenny

Jenny is a gorgeous young girl looking for her own forever home. She is a cracker of a terrier and will make a fantastic family pet but not a home with very small kids and she is a little jumpy at present. She will require continued training to quash these bad habits but this little beauty has the potential for greatness. She is vaccinated, micro chipped, neutered and trreated for paasites. She is social with other dogs, walks well on the lead and is ready to go home.

April (Cat and Dog Protection)

April (Cat and Dog Protection)

April is a cheerful, laid-back young lady who has been an excellent mother to her four kittens and has fully earned a bit of pampering of her own. She loves attention and will happily curl up in your lap, but isn't clingy. She doesn't seem to mind the idea of other animals and could probably adjust well to a home with a similarly laid-back cat or dog. She loves to play, but she is also very gentle and would be suitable for a home with children. She is an inquisitive cat, who always wants to know what’s on the other side of the door. If you would like to adopt April, please ring Mary on 087-6577589. A homecheck will apply. Bill

Bill

Bill is one cool dude `looking for a second chance. He requires a home with a happy confident dog to teach him how to interact with humans. Bill will require a home with a secure garden so he can be safely contained while he adjusts to his new life. Bill was never treated kindly, he is starved of love and attention and he really needs a kind soul to teach him that humans mean him no harm. He is vaccinated, neutered, micro chipped and treated for parasites. Bill is ready to go home and start his new life.

Bill is currently in the care of the ISPCA National Animal Centre

Chico

Chico

Chico is an adorable older dog looking for his retirement home. He is tolerant of other dogs but would much prefer to be lord and master. He is house trained, walks very well on lead and is excellent off lead. He follows you around like a shadow and although he is an older dog he is quite young at heart as he enjoys the odd sprint here and there especially if he is chasing his master. He doesn’t care about cats and would be fine in a home with confident cats. He is vaccinated, micro chipped, neutered and treated for parasites

Chico is currently in the care of the ISPCA National Animal Centre

Maverick

Maverick

Maverick is a stunning boy, full of energy & in need of an active home. He is strong on the lead & is currently receiving training but this will have to continue in his new home. He is very sweet, loves attention & is social with other dogs. He is a good jumper & will require secure high fencing & preferably another dog for company & to help him burn up excess energy. Regular exercise & stimulation is a must but this lovely boy has great potential in the right home.

Eloise

Eloise

Eloise is a stunning girl looking for a home with an experienced adopter. Eloise will be an only dog as she is not social with others, she will require very secure fencing and an adopter with full knowledge of restricted breed legislation and experience with the breed to enforce it. She is lead trained but strong, she is quite clean and will need continued house training in her new home. Eloise is not a guard dog; she is a family pet and will be rehomed as such.

Ralph

Ralph

Ralph sleeps hard and plays hard. He is the most likely of the 4 littermates to be seen curled up asleep while the others are investigating, he is also the most likely to be picking a fight when he is awake. He is hilarious to watch.
