T-Bone loves people and is happiest keeping you company in the garden or house. If there is a fire you will always find him in front of it. He is very good at sit and stay commands and heels when called. T-Bone is great on the lead and listens to commands such as "slow" "stop" and "cross (the road)". He is an intelligent dog and has made such amazing advances since being fostered which could only be improved on once finding a permanent home. He will need an adopter with experience of the breed and knowledge of restricted dogs as he falls under that category but he is a real dote and a fantastic pet.

T-Bone is currently in the care of the ISPCA National Animal Centre

2 males & 3 females These cute pups are full of energy and just love to play. They are all very individual but they have their love of people and cuddles in common! They would do well with another friendly dog in their new home but can be rehomed as single pets provided they are not left alone for long periods. Like all puppies they are very inquisitive and love to investigate everything and will surely bring lots of fun to their adopters. They will need to be indoor pets and have a secure garden to play in. They will charm their way into your heart once you meet them and you are bound to fall in love.

1 male, 3 females These puppies are utterly adorable. They are very well socialised with people and will make fantastic family pets. Naturally they will need ongoing house and lead training but they are really bright sparks and it shouldn’t take them long. Because they are puppies they will need indoor homes with access to a secure garden to run and play in. They would love to be rehomed in pairs or with another friendly dog for company but they can also be single pets provided they are given plenty of attention and not left alone for long periods of time. They will make fantastic pets in any home and once you meet them you are bound to fall in love.

Claus is a gorgeous big boy looking for a active family to take him home. He is big lad, full of beans and will require a home with experience of these breeds. He loves people and will adore a home where he has lots of human interaction and hopefully the company of another dog to rough and tumble with. He is quite strong and foolish and would be better suited in a home with older children. He will require on-going obedience training but this fine boy has huge potential and will make some lucky family very happy indeed. Claus was removed from a property with 3 other dogs. They were fed alright but they were individually tied up outside without adequate shelter and had little or no interaction or exercise.

Rihanna

Rihanna

Rihanna is a fantastic older lady who loves the finer things in life. She is available under the Cara Programme for persons over 65. She is a real pet and loves getting cuddles from her human friends. She is great with other dogs too and would be a fantastic addition to the family. She is such a sweet lady and really deserves a new life full of happiness and love. Rihanna is house trained and walks well on the lead though she is sometimes a bit stubborn! She is also great off lead and really is a faultless dog. She must be an indoor dog and will need a secure garden in her new home to potter about in. If you want a loving, affectionate, placid and easy-going dog then look no further than Rihanna. Rihanna was brought into our care by a member of our Inspectorate. She was suffering from a womb infection when she arrived and it is evident that she had been used extensively for breeding.

Ray

Ray

Ray is a very happy and affectionate guy. He is great with people and loves to get some fuss and attention. Despite the tough circumstances in his previous life he has remained a very loving and friendly boy. He would suit a home as the only dog with lots of love and attention but he could also be rehomed with another friendly dog for company. He is very good on the lead but can sometimes be a little bit overzealous in his affections so he will need a little bit of training in this regard with his new family. He would be good in a family environment with children who understand and respect dogs. As he is a restricted breed in Ireland his new owners must be familiar and compliant with the law surrounding this kind of dog. Ray is ready to start a life full of love and happiness; could you give him that life?

Claus

Claus

Claus is a stunning black cat who loves a bit of attention and playtime with people. He was very shy when he was first admitted to the centre but after lots of patience and gentle handling from staff he has become a friendly and confident kitten. He loves to rub around your legs and play with anything he can get his paws on! Claus would love to be rehomed with one of his siblings or another friendly cat or kitten to give him a playmate in his new home. He will need to be kept indoors until he is neutered at around 6 months of age, after which he would love to be allowed outside during the day. Claus is a real pet who will thrive with love and attention in his new home.

Enola

Enola

Enola is a very pretty and playful kitten. She likes affection on her own terms and needs a laid back home with older children or adults only. She would thrive if she was rehomed with one of the kittens from her pod or where there is an existing sociable cat or kitten. Enola would preferably be an indoor cat who can explore outside to her heart’s content once she is comfortable in her new environment and has been neutered. She will make a very easy and undemanding addition to the household. Enola was the product of an accidental litter. Her mother’s owners contacted the ISPCA for assistance and were placed on our long waiting list. They managed to home 2 of Enola’s siblings themselves and had her mother neutered as soon as the kittens were weaned. When we had the space Enola was admitted to the centre with a donation towards her care.

Sally

Sally

Sally is a gorgeous lady looking for her own second chance. She is very sweet and gentle, she loves the company of other dogs and would love a home with a canine companion. She walks well on lead and is good off lead, she would make a fantastic family pet. She will need on-going house and obedience training and plenty of exercise and stimulation in her new home. Secure fencing is a must. She has been through so much she deserves to finally find her own forever home soon. Sally and her siblings were originally brought in by ISPCA by one of our Inspectors with their mother Cotton, their owner was not giving them the care they needed. She was adopted but unfortunately her new home was not suitable and didn't provide her with the home she needed.

Denis

Denis

Denis is a gorgeous young cat. He is very social with other cats and we would love for him to go to a home with another friendly cat to give him some company and confidence. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances from which he was rescued, he is a little wary of strangers but he has come on leaps and bounds in our care and is now a very affectionate cat with people that he knows. Denis would suit either an indoor home with the opportunity to explore outside during the day once he has settled in or an outdoor home provided he is well-fed and has a safe, warm and dry bed to curl up in. Denis was brought to the centre along with a number of other cats by a member of our Inspectorate. All the cats were being neglected and kept in unsuitably small cages with very little room to move around or human socialisation.

Peggy Sue

Peggy Sue

Peggy Sue is a fantastic little lady looking for her own forever home. She is confused and scared so her ideal home will be with adults or older kids who can give her a quiet home where she can come out of her shell. She has already become more trusting and will a little TLC she will make a great addition to her new home. She would thrive quicker if she could be rehomed with one of the kittens from her pod for company or with a existing confident cat. She loves to play with her toys and the other kittens and will make a very fun pet if given the time and space she needs to settle down. Peggy Sue and her 3 siblings were dumped in the garden of a member of public. The homeowner’s dog found them and unfortunately killed one of the kittens before she could save it. Thankfully the other 4 were unscathed and the owner kept them safe until there was a spot available to admit them. This kind lady left a donation for their care.

Pharaoh

Pharaoh

Pharaoh is a beautiful white boxer with one brown patch in the middle of his back. He is very friendly and is delighted with company. He has been living as a stray for over a month and as a result has lost a lot of weight, however, his is now on a good regular diet and will be back to full health very quickly. He will be available for rehoming from 24 Dec 14 if his owners do not come forward. He will be microchipped, will have his first vaccinations and will be treated for internal and external parasites (worms and fleas). To rehome Pharaoh you will need to present a dog licence (20 euro from post office) plus a 25euro rehoming fee. Discounted neutering voucher is available as appropriate.

Ash

Ash

Ash is a lovely young dog. She is a quiet girl who loves a gentle fuss from her carers and visitors. She was very shy when she first arrived but has come on leaps and bounds and will thrive in a home setting. She will require a home with secure fencing in the garden and plenty of walks. She is fantastic with other dogs and would love a new home with a canine companion but she could be a single dog as long as she gets lots of attention from her new owners. Ash walks wonderfully on the lead and is close to being house trained. She is such a sweet and gentle dog and Ash deserves a new home that can show her what life is all about; can you give that to her? Ash and several other dogs were seized by a member of our Inspectorate. They were all physically well looked after but had begun to breed uncontrollably and so for their best interests they were taken into the care of the ISPCA.

Honey

Honey

Honey is such a sweet and gentle girl. She loves getting cuddles and attention from people and will be a fantastic, loyal pet for her new owners. She could be rehomed with another dog that she likes and is happy with but would do well as a single pet too. She walks excellently on the lead and is a bright girl so will be easy to house and obedience train. Honey would love to be an indoor dog experiencing the luxury she has probably never had in her life before and will need a securely fenced garden that she can play games in safely. She is a little bit stressed out in the kennel but once you take her on a walk her affectionate and loving personality shines through. Could Honey be the one for you?

Nidge, Frano, Elmo & Ado

Nidge, Frano, Elmo & Ado

These young boys are terribly cute and will make great pets given some time. Because of their background they are a little shy of people but they are improving with the dedicated care of staff. They will need homes that understand dogs and are willing to be patient with them while they develop their confidence. Ideally they would like to be rehomed with the company of another friendly dog to learn from but they could also go to the right homes as single pets. They must be indoor dogs with access to a secure garden for playtime and toileting. Nidge, Frano, Elmo & Ado have been through a lot of hardship in their short lives and it has taken its toll. Could you be the one to give a puppy an understanding and loving new start?

Copper

Copper

Copper was a horrific cruelty case. He was found a couple of months ago abandoned and stuffed into a large polythene bag, perilously close to death. He stayed in the vets for two days and it was discovered that his skin and other problems stemmed from malnutrition, the poor fellow. But he improved significantly with all the attention, proper feeding and TLC he received at our KWWSPCA animal shelter, and the hair on the bald patches on his legs and back started to grow back.Copper is such a friendly boy and a gentle soul, full of fun and tail wags, and very playful. We would love to get him into a forever home as quickly as possible where he can be given the love and attention he really deserves. We think Copper would be suited to an adult only home . If you would be interested in offering Copper a forever home, or if you would like to find our more about him, please call/text 087 9133923 (reasonable hours only), private message us via Facebook or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Flash

Flash

Flash is a very handsome young puppy. He is already quite a good size and will definitely grow up into a large dog when fully grown, so please bear this in mind. Like all puppies, he will require on-going training, including the basics like house and lead training, so understanding and patient owners are needed. And, of course, it is important to stress that puppies are a long-term commitment and ideally they need someone at home with them for most of the day when they are young. A home check will be required and a secure garden is a priority. If you are interested in offering Flash a home or would like more information about him, please call/text 087 1279835, private message us through our Facebook page or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Flash is in foster care and therefore prior arrangements will need to be made to view him. We ask for a re-homing fee of €100 which will include the future cost of his neutering (which is mandatory).

McGregor, Ness, Aengus & Bonny

McGregor, Ness, Aengus & Bonny

2 males, 2 females These cute bundles of fun will make fantastic pets for any family. They are really affectionate and playful and will make any home a lot more fun! They are very sociable and could go to homes in pairs or with another friendly dog for company but they could also be single pets as long as there is someone home with them most of the time. Like all puppies they run and play like there is no tomorrow but when they have tired themselves out they would love a warm snuggly lap to curl up on. They must be indoor pets and have access to a secure garden where there is no chance that they can get lost. These puppies are a collie mix so will grow into medium sized dogs and need an active lifestyle. Do you think McGregor, Ness, Aengus or Bonny could be the puppy for you?

Carl

Carl is a very handsome and headstrong young puppy. He is super friendly with everyone he meets and will try to get away with murder if you let him! He will undoubtedly bring a lot of fun and laughter to his adopters. Carl would benefit from the company of a friendly and well mannered dog in his new home to show him how to behave and adopters who will give the time necessary to train and raise a puppy the right way. He will be great in a family who is used to dogs and mischievous antics. Carl walks well on the lead but will naturally need continued house training in his new home. Conan

Conan is an adorable little pup just bursting with love and affection. He is very friendly with all the people and other dogs he meets and will be an ideal first dog for a family. Being a puppy he mustn’t be left on his own for long periods of time and will need ongoing house and obedience training with his adopters. He can be rehomed with another dog but could also be a single family pet. Conan walks very well on the lead and is a responsive little guy so has massive potential to be the perfect pet. Dixie

Dixie

Dixie is a gorgeous and active girl. She loves playing with her toys, particularly tennis balls, and would make a super fun pet. She has loads of potential and is such a bright spark; she will be easy to train and we think she’d be great at agility. She needs new owners who will be able to channel her energy into something constructive and she’d love a new family who are active and outside a lot who will be able to take Dixie with them on fun activities. Dixie will undoubtedly form a strong bond with her new owners and become a cherished member of the family in no time at all. Could you give her the fun home life she deserves after all the hardship she’s been through? Dixie and another dog, Honey, came to the NAC from one of our Inspectors. The poor girls had been neglected and were suffering terribly from mange. Thankfully, after intensive treatment they recovered very well.

Velvet and Omar

Velvet and Omar

Velvet and Omar are two fabulous dogs. They are friendly and affectionate and will make fantastic pets. They need a home together as they are so bonded. Secure fencing is a must in their new home and plenty of exercise. These two may not be suitable in a home with very young children due to Omar’s amputation and as they can be bouncy. Their house and lead training will need continuation with their new owners. We are sure that Velvet and Omar will make loving and devoted pets to a lucky new owner. Velvet and Omar were rescued together from a property where their living conditions were very substandard. Omar had an old injury to his back leg that had healed wrong and become deformed. On veterinary advice, his leg was amputated after he came into our care and he is adapting brilliantly to life on three legs.

Conor

Conor

Conor is a fabulous medium sized dog. He is very friendly and energetic and would suit a family home that is used to dogs. He is full of energy and life and will be a really fun pet. He does sometimes have a tendency to jump up when he is over-excited but with a little bit of training in his new home it will be easy to break this habit. He is good with other dogs and loves to play. He walks well on the lead and is clean in his kennel so it will not take much to reinforce his house training in a new home. Conor is a fabulous guy who will thrive with a loving family to call his own.

Oscar

Oscar

Oscar is a beautiful medium-sized dog. He is very energetic and loves people. He gets on with most dogs and would like a canine companion in his new home. He would suit an active household with teenagers or no children and secure fencing is a must. Oscar is undergoing house and lead training at the moment but this will obviously need continuing with his new owners. He is a great dog that will bring lots of fun and affection to his new family. Oscar is one of a group of dogs that were signed over to a member of our Inspectorate. A well meaning individual had taken these dogs and more into her care after they found themselves in need of homes but the number of dogs in their possession quickly got out of hand so the ISPCA stepped in to assist the dogs.

Snudge

Snudge

Snudge is a stunning young greyhound who is bursting full of love for everyone he meets. He needs a home without cats and with another confident and friendly medium/large dog for company (preferably his best friend Oakley) and plenty of room in a secure garden to race around and play. He will form a very strong bond with his new owners and gets a little bit anxious if left without company for long periods so ideally he would love to go to a home where someone can be with him most of the time. He is still a puppy at heart and is very playful and mischievous though he loves to snuggle up with his human on the sofa or with his canine friends when he is tired. Snudge is house trained, walks well on lead, is used to travelling and has relatively good recall on a walk with other dogs. He is also good with children though he sometimes has a tendency to jump up when he gets excited. Snudge is the perfect pet who will bring lots of laughter and love to his new family. Once you meet him you will fall in love with this quirky and loving young dog. Snudge is currently in foster care so please ring ahead if you would like to meet him.

Solar and Fluffy

Solar and Fluffy

Solar and Fluffy are stunning girls looking for a retirement home together. They must be rehomed together as they have lived together all their lives. They are great dogs with lovely temperaments and would be ideal for an older active couple. They are available under the Cara Programme for persons over 65. They will require a secure garden with a good amount of exercise. They have lived with other dogs and cats and could be rehomed to a household with existing pets. Solar and Fluffy will make brilliant pets and companions in their new home. Are you willing to give them the home they deserve? Norman

Norman

Norman is a stunning black kitten who is unfortunately very wary of people. He will need an outdoor home where he is free to do his own thing and come and go as he wishes. Given time he may come around to people and become an affectionate pet. He would love to have another friendly cat or kitten to keep him company in his new home. Norman will need somewhere safe, warm and dry to sleep as well as good quality cat food to keep him healthy but otherwise will be a very easy and undemanding cat to have around the place. He will need to be kept secure until he has been neutered at around 6 months of age. Do you have the right home for Norman?

Simon

Simon

Simon is a very handsome guy looking for a home where he can be loved for the rest of his life. He is a quiet but affectionate boy who is good with other dogs and loves human company. He would love a home where he is given all the love and attention he has missed in his life up to now and we are sure he will give it back to you tenfold. Simon will need a very secure garden and needs to be an inside dog and treated as part of the family. He walks well on the lead and is a very inquisitive little fellow. He is undergoing house training but this will need to be continued in his new home and since he is a long haired dog his coat will require daily maintenance and regular professional grooming. Simon is bound to steal your heart when you meet him and would love a home of his own.

Leroy

Leroy

Leroy is a magnificent dog; extremely friendly and gentle. He is such a character and is sure to bring a smile to your face with his antics. He is very food oriented and so will be easy to train in his new home. He is undergoing testing with other dogs at the moment and has been great so far so he could be rehomed with another easy going dog or as a single pet since we are sure he would love all the cuddles and attention to himself! Leroy is very good on the lead but because of his size he will need a strong handler who can control him effectively. His new owners will need to have experience with this breed and be familiar with the laws surrounding restricted breeds in Ireland. Leroy is such a fantastic, easy going and loveable man; will you give him the second chance he needs? Leroy was surrendered to the ISPCA because he was not receiving appropriate care and socialisation.

Buttons

Buttons

Buttons is a happy and friendly little puppy. She will be a fantastic pet for a family and not grow to be very big. She walks very well on the lead and is currently undergoing house training but this will of course need to be continued with her new owners. Buttons gets on well with other dogs so could go to a home where there is already an existing friendly dog but she may also be rehomed as a single pet provided she is not left on her own for long periods. She has the potential to be a great pet because she is so friendly towards people and well socialised. Obedience training with her new owners would be beneficial to ensure she reaches her full potential. Buttons is a faultless little puppy who would be a great fit for almost any home. Buttons was removed by our Inspectorate from Ballinasloe Fair. She had been put up for sale while suffering from mange which hadn’t received veterinary attention.

Beatrice

Beatrice

Beatrice is a sweet and friendly little girl with lots of love to give. She will grow up to be a brilliant family pet and fabulous companion. She can be rehomed with another friendly and playful dog or as an only pet provided she is given enough attention and stimulation and is not left alone for extended periods of time. As with all puppies she must be an inside dog and will require house training in her new home but our staff will happily advise in this area. A good secure garden is a must where Beatrice can dash around and play to her heart’s content without the worry that she will get out and wander. She will make such an affectionate and playful pet in any family that raises her well. Beatrice and several other puppies were seized from Ballinasloe Fair by our Inspectorate. The poor puppies were suffering huge parasite burdens and had not been well cared for in their short lives.

Brandy

Brandy is a cracking little lady looking for a active family to take her home. She loves lots of attention and gets on well with other dogs, ideally her new home will have another playful dog for company and a secure yard to play in. She cannot be left alone for prolonged periods and will require plenty of obedience training to help her grow up into a settled and well mannered adult. She is so friendly, she would make a ideal family pet provided the children have experience with dogs and preferably are over 8 yrs. of age. Brandy is a gem and will not stay at the centre long, once you meet her, you will love her. Have you room in your home & heart for Brandy?

Roxy

Roxy

Roxy is a lovely little lady in need of lots of TLC. She is quite nervous although she is improving daily but she needs a home without children or with older kids used to dogs. She needs to have a confident, friendly dog to learn from and help her build trust and confidence in people. When she is in her kennel and she feels safe she is quite forthcoming with the staff that she sees on a daily basis and we feel that it will just be a matter of time once she has settled in a home before she becomes a happy and friendly pet. She must have a fully fenced and very secure garden where she can go out to run and play. She desperately needs a second chance and a little love and kindness in her life, can you help her? Roxy & Rhea were rescued from a backyard breeder with a number of other dogs. The others were in relatively good health but these two were suffering severely from mange.

Holly is a very friendly girl who loves everyone she meets and will make a fantastic pet. She adores cuddles and attention and loves being out and about on her walks. She walks well on the lead and is quite simply a ready made pet who would fit in well to almost any home.

Rhea is a gentle soul who has suffered greatly in her life, she really deserves her second chance. She must have secure fencing, another confident dog to learn from & mimic and a loving family preferably with no children who can let her gain confidence and come forward on her terms. She is so sweet and you can see the gentle and loving pet waiting to come out. She desperately deserves a wonderful forever home, can you help her? Suki

Suki is a stunning dog looking for a loving new home. She adores people and is super affectionate with everyone she meets. Suki would love a home where she can get all the love and attention she craves. She is great with kids and will be perfect in a family home. She is nearly house trained but requires a little bit more work on the lead. Suki needs new owners who are familiar with her breed and the legal restrictions surrounding ownership of such a dog. She loves her walks and getting out and about and is a very outgoing girl. She is bound to settle in fabulously to any home. Suki will be a great family companion; do you have space in your home and heart for her? BACKGROUND: Suki came to the ISPCA from a member of our Inspectorate. Ebony

Ebony is a lovely young girl who is full of life and love. She adores people and just wants attention from them all the time. She is very puppy-like in many ways and is just so adorable. She will need a home with an active family where she is not left alone for long periods of time and where she is treated as a family member. Ebony would be happy to be rehomed with another friendly, well-mannered dog to learn from. She loves playing with her toys and people and will be a really fun pet. A cat free home would be advisable for Ebony. She will need some basic obedience work as she has a tendency to get over excited and jump up sometimes but this will not be hard as she is a very intelligent girl. Nelson

Nelson

Nelson came into the care of the KWWSPCA several months ago as a horrific cruelty case, one of the most emaciated dogs that we have ever seen. The poor boy was literally skin and bones, with sorrowful eyes that simply melted your heart. He had been tied up without access to any food or water for a good while, and would have soon starved to death but for being rescued by some good samaritans who brought him to our care. He has now put back on nearly all his lost weight and has been getting lots of TLC from all the volunteers here at our shelter, but he is still very nervous around any strangers (understandably given his previous abusive treatment) and his first inclination is to keep away from anyone he doesn’t know. He is improving all the time and starting to accept affection now from strangers. While we are delighted that Nelson is moving into a great foster home, we would love him to find his very own forever family in due course (he will be neutered before being rehomed permanently once restored to full weight/health). If that might be you, please get in touch – you can private message us through our Facebook page, call/text 087 9133923 (reasonable hours only please) or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Visiting will have to be by prior appointment.

Evie

Evie

Evie is a small sized lurcher who recently came into our care from the Kildare Dog Pound. She has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and wormed. Evie is quite thin and the vet thinks that she has recently had pups, so we would love to get her into a nice warm house as soon as possible. She is a lovely, friendly girl but will need a well secured garden as she can jump quite high. If you would be interested in offering Evie a foster or forever home, or if you would like to find our more about her, please call/text 087 9133923 (reasonable hours only), private message us via Facebook or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). And you are of course very welcome to meet Evie at our KWWSPCA animal shelter in Athgarvan which is open every day of the week (apart from Sundays) to visitors from 2.00pm to 4.00pm each day. We ask for a rehoming fee of €100 when we rehome a dog to partly offset their veterinary and other costs and a home check is required.

Benny is very friendly and a sociable boy who is good with male and female dogs. Leroy

Leroy

Leroy is a big bouncy boy who just wants to be your friend and cover you in licks and kisses. He came into our care with a slight wound on the top of his head but otherwise in good condition and he is neutered, vaccinated and wormed. He is a very friendly boy who mixes well with other dogs at our KWWSPCA shelter. He is quite strong so will need a confident handler, and probably wouldn’t suit a house with very young children as he is just such a bouncy, energetic boy. He loves his walks and will need plenty of exercise and a secure garden is a must. If you would like to offer Leroy a home, please call/text 087 9133923 (reasonable hours only), private message KWWSPCA via Facebook or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Jane

Jane

Jane is an all round beauty with a friendly, kind nature. She has obviously been quite badly neglected in the past because her teeth aren’t in great condition, but she is a happy, gentle soul who mixes well with other dogs, really enjoys her walks and is good on the lead. Sam

Sam

15 December 2014 - Sam is a 11+ year old Collie . But do not think for one second that because he is a 11 years old that he will just lay around, no there is lots of life in "the old dog yet", he like to run around, stalk the cows in the field next door and try to chase tractors. He gets on well with my five collies, he is very easy going and very obedient. He walks well on a lead and comes when he is called. Sam is typical of his breed and is just an adorable collie who will make a great companion for the right person.

Gail

Gail

Gail is a friendly lady who would love a new home to call her own. She adores people and will make a fantastic, loving pet for almost any home. She is good with other dogs and could be rehomed with another friendly dog but she could also be a single pet provided she gets all the attention and stimulation she needs from her new owners. We would love Gail to be an indoor dog living the life of luxury. She is already house trained and walks relatively well on the lead though she needs a little bit of work in this regard. A securely fenced garden is a must for Gail and her new owners must be aware of and compliant with the law surrounding restricted breeds like her. She will make a fantastic pet and really deserves a second chance; will you give that to her?

Bobby

Bobby is a very friendly and affectionate boy. He walks very well on the lead and is house trained. He would love a home where he can curl up on the couch and be spoiled rotten by his new family. He is good with other dogs but he does love his food and sometimes gets a bit possessive of it. Bobby will need a securely fenced garden in his new home and plenty of walks and playtime with his new owners. He would love to be allowed to sleep inside as he is such a pet and will be a fantastic addition to the family. Because he is a restricted breed in Ireland his new owners will need to comply with the laws surrounding his breed. Bobby would really love a new life and home; will you be the one to give him that?

Moe

Moe

This big bouncy boxer cross is Moe. He is approximately 3 years old. He has been at the KWWSPCA for some time and we would really like to find him a good home before Christmas. We think Moe should be homed as an only dog as he has not been well socialised around other dogs. He is strong on the lead and will need some basic training but he is an intelligent dog and picks up commands quickly. Moe absolutely loves people and loves human contact; but as he is such a large, strong dog we would not recommend him to a home with small children. If you would be interested in re-homing Moe or for more information about him, please call/text 087 9133923 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or private message the KWWSPCA Facebook page. Mr Purr

Mr Purr

Mr Purr is one handsome chap looking for his own second chance. He will need to be kept indoors for at least 2 weeks after he is adopted but once he settles in he would love to be allowed outside during the day to hunt his little paws off. He will fit in well to a home with another kitten or playful cat for company. He could also be an outdoor cat provided he has a warm, dry bed to sleep in and is provided with good quality cat food. His siblings have all been homed and he has been waiting patiently for his chance for a long time. Have you room for him in your family?

Billy

Billy

Billy is a young male spaniel Cross breed, approximately one year old, he was found in a ditch terrified, cold, hungry, although in a good state of health. Still nervous he's improving daily and desperately wants to be friendly. He would really benefit so much in a home where he can enjoy one-to-one human companionship and where he can learn to fully trust humans again. He's a beautiful looking little fella who must have had some awful trauma.

Bubbles

Bubbles

Bubbles is a super cat. She is so friendly and affectionate with everyone and will be a fantastic pet. She is very nosy and loves to be with her human companions as much as possible to see what’s going on. She is a pure lap cat and would stay with you all day if she had the opportunity. Bubbles will be great in a family home as she is very laid back and just wants any attention she can get. She will need to be an indoor cat, perhaps with access outside during the day after she has settled in. She gets on well with other cats so could be rehomed with other cats or as a single pet as long as she isn’t alone a lot. Bubbles is good with dogs who respect her and all in all is just the perfect cat. Do you have space in your home for this adorable, loving and loyal girl? Bubbles was found straying and heavily pregnant. She was fostered by one of our volunteers so that she and her newborn kittens would be safe from harm and was brought into the centre when we had space for her.

Mr Ed

Mr Ed

Mr Ed is an absolutely gorgeous cat. He is so handsome and will be a lovely cat to have around the house. He is a little shy of strangers at present but if you approach him slowly and quietly he loves to be tickled under the chin and behind his ears. Mr Ed would do well to have another confident cat in his new home to show him he has nothing to fear. With some time and patience from his new owners he is sure to grow into a loving and affectionate cat around the people he knows. He will need a quiet new home with no young children. Mr Ed just needs someone kind and patient to give him confidence and turn him into the fabulous cat that is waiting to come out. Mr Ed was straying, seemingly after being dumped, around a member of the public’s house. They contacted the National Animal Centre and Mr Ed was placed on our waiting list until a space became available for him.

Morgan

Morgan

Morgan is a beautiful young cat with lots of love to give. He likes affection as long as he is not manhandled too much and will happily sit next to you on a chair to have his ears rubbed. He would suit a home with older children who do not demand too much from him. Morgan loves to play, as all kittens do, and he will be very fun to have in the home. He needs to be kept inside until he has been neutered and then we are sure he would love to be allowed outside during the day to explore the local area. He gets on well with other cats and could be rehomed either as a single pet or part of a multi-cat household. Morgan has been through a lot in his short life; could you give him years of happiness and enjoyment to make up for it? Morgan and another kitten were removed from a property by a member of our Inspectorate. They were suffering from cat flu but had not been receiving any treatment.

Apricot

Apricot

Apricot is an absolutely stunning girl. She needs a patient home where she can build up some confidence in her own time. At the moment she is a little shy but does let you make a fuss of her if you’re quiet and gentle. We are sure it will take her no time at all to become loving and affectionate with her new owners. She would love to be rehomed with another cat for company and to give her a little bit of support and a confidence boost in a new environment. Apricot will need to be kept indoors until she is neutered but then she could quite happily be an indoor-outdoor cat or even live outside as long as she has somewhere warm and safe to sleep and is well-fed. Apricot has the potential to be a fantastic pet; will you give her a chance? Apricot was hit by a car on the road and brought to a vet by the driver. She was treated for minor injuries and it was agreed that she could be admitted to the NAC to find her a loving home.

Apricot is currently in the care of the ISPCA National Animal Centre
