T-Bone is a fabulous boy looking for his own forever home. He is adorable, loves lots of attention, cuddles and a good long walk. He is playful and loving and will require a home with secure fencing, a adopter with experience of the breed and knowledge of restricted dogs as he falls under that category. He is strong on the lead & is currently receiving training to correct this but in the right home this boy will thrive and make his new adopters very happy indeed. He would love to be adopted with his buddy Tupac if possible, but were are open to any offer of a suitable responsible home.

Homer is a stunning boy looking for his own special forever home. He is a gorgeous boy but will require a home with a experienced Bassett owner and no children. He will require on-going obedience training and commitment of his new adopter to help him adjust to his new life. He walks well on lead, is fairly good off lead provided he doesn't sniff out something fun. He will best suit being a single dog in a quiet home as he loves his naps and comforts. He will soon be ready for adoption and we would love to find him his special home asap.

Duchess is a lovable little lady. She is so sweet she will make a wonderful family pet. She would fit in well to a home with children and equally she would be a fantastic companion for a retired person. She would love nothing better than a comfy bed in front of the fire and lots of delicious treats. She will need daily grooming but she quite likes it and so long as her coat in maintained, she is happy. She loves her home comforts and will best suit a home where she can be indoors most of the time and esp at night, with access to outside during the day, after she settles in. She is fully vaccinated, neutered and treated for parasites. She is now ready to go home and start her new life. Can you find room in your home and heart for this beautiful girl?

Des (and Daisy)

Des (and Daisy)

Des (and Daisy) are looking for a HOME together as they have always lived together and are so close to each other that it really wouldn’t be fair to split them up now. Very sadly these two lovely dogs were initially surrendered due to their owner moving abroad and being unable to take them. They were re-homed and whilst perfect in many respects, Des was very occasionally snappy with the youngest child in the house and so they have very reluctantly been returned to our care. We are therefore looking for a family with older kids (teenagers) or no children. Des and Daisy are generally very friendly, calm and quiet. They love their rubs and affection, and get on well with other dogs. They enjoy their walks, are good on the lead and are house trained. They have been neutered, vaccinated and wormed. Wilson

Wilson

Wilson is the loveliest dog you will ever meet. Still in his puppy years he loves to play and run around and loves affection and his walks. He is house trained but will need general obedience training. He is a big dog, and will need plenty of exercise such as two long walks a day, which he looks forward to. He loves other dogs and cats and would be suited to a home where he can get plenty of TLC from his owners. He loves to be out and about and especially loves journeys in the car, always excited to see where he is going. He is good with children aged 8 plus. Do you think you could bring him home and love him? If so he is the dog for you.

Maisie

Maisie

Maisie is a quiet but friendly kitten. She loves a gentle hand to stroke her and will make a very sweet pet. She would love a home with another sociable kitten or cat to give her some company and a playmate. Maisie needs an indoor home with the opportunity to go outside during the day once she has settled in and has been neutered. She would suit a family with older children who are used to cats since she is very placid and doesn't like too much noise or activity. Maisie and her siblings were dumped at the centre in a sealed plastic container with no regard for their lives or wellbeing. All were severely dehydrated and overheated but thankfully came out of their ordeal with no lasting physical damage.

Maisie is currently in the care of the ISPCA National Animal Centre

Puma, Panther and Jaguar

Puma, Panther and Jaguar

Puma (female), Panther and Jaguar (males) are 3 gorgeous black kittens. They are semi-feral and would suit an outdoor life where they have food and a safe, warm bed to sleep in and can come and go as they please. They would make great mousers on a farm or somewhere rural. They will need to be kept somewhere secure in their new location until they are neutered so that they do not breed and contribute to the feline over-population problem. Puma, Panther, Jaguar and their mother, Cougar, were removed from a property by a member of our Inspectorate. They were suffering with cat flu on arrival but are now healthy and looking for a new start.

Puma, Panther and Jaguar is currently in the care of the ISPCA National Animal Centre

Claus

Claus

Claus is a gorgeous big boy looking for a active family to take him home. He is big lad, full of beans and will require a home with experience of these breeds. He loves people and will adore a home where he has lots of human interaction and hopefully the company of another dog to rough and tumble with. He is quite strong and foolish and would be better suited in a home with older children. He will require on-going obedience training but this fine boy has huge potential and will make some lucky family very happy indeed. Claus was removed from a property with 3 other dogs. They were fed alright but they were individually tied up outside without adequate shelter and had little or no interaction or exercise.

Claus is currently in the care of the ISPCA National Animal Centre

Sally

Sally

Sally is a gorgeous lady looking for her own second chance. She is very sweet and gentle, she loves the company of other dogs and would love a home with a canine companion. She walks well on lead and is good off lead, she would make a fantastic family pet. She will need on-going house and obedience training and plenty of exercise and stimulation in her new home. Secure fencing is a must. She has been through so much she deserves to finally find her own forever home soon. Sally and her siblings were originally brought in by ISPCA by one of our Inspectors with their mother Cotton, their owner was not giving them the care they needed. She was adopted but unfortunately her new home was not suitable and didn't provide her with the home she needed.

Peggy Sue

Peggy Sue

Peggy Sue is a fantastic little lady looking for her own forever home. She is confused and scared so her ideal home will be with adults or older kids who can give her a quiet home where she can come out of her shell. She has already become more trusting and will a little TLC she will make a great addition to her new home. She would thrive quicker if she could be rehomed with one of the kittens from her pod for company or with a existing confident cat. She loves to play with her toys and the other kittens and will make a very fun pet if given the time and space she needs to settle down. Peggy Sue and her 3 siblings were dumped in the garden of a member of public. The homeowner’s dog found them and unfortunately killed one of the kittens before she could save it. Thankfully the other 4 were unscathed and the owner kept them safe until there was a spot available to admit them. This kind lady left a donation for their care.

Enola

Enola

Enola is a very pretty and playful kitten. She likes affection on her own terms and needs a laid back home with older children or adults only. She would thrive if she was rehomed with one of the kittens from her pod or where there is an existing sociable cat or kitten. Enola would preferably be an indoor cat who can explore outside to her heart’s content once she is comfortable in her new environment and has been neutered. She will make a very easy and undemanding addition to the household. Enola was the product of an accidental litter. Her mother’s owners contacted the ISPCA for assistance and were placed on our long waiting list. They managed to home 2 of Enola’s siblings themselves and had her mother neutered as soon as the kittens were weaned. When we had the space Enola was admitted to the centre with a donation towards her care.

Esme Lynn

Esme Lynn

Esme Lynn is an extremely affectionate and friendly kitten. She always gets up to greet you when you enter her pod and begs for cuddles and attention. She will make a fantastic family pet, either as a single cat with plenty of human attention or as part of a multi-cat household. She would like to be an indoor pet with plenty of toys to play with and warm laps to curl up on when she is tired. She would also love the chance to be able explore outdoors during the day once she is settled and neutered. Esme Lynn was found crying and alone by one of our volunteers. They kindly looked after her until such a time as there was space in the cattery to admit her.

Denis

Denis

Denis is a gorgeous young cat. He is very social with other cats and we would love for him to go to a home with another friendly cat to give him some company and confidence. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances from which he was rescued, he is quite wary of people. However, with some love and patient new owners we are sure he has the potential to become an affectionate and loyal pet. Denis would suit either an indoor home with the opportunity to explore outside during the day once he has settled in or an outdoor home provided he is well-fed and has a safe, warm and dry bed to curl up in. Denis was brought to the centre along with a number of other cats by a member of our Inspectorate. All the cats were being neglected and kept in unsuitably small cages with very little room to move around or human socialisation.

Neil

Neil is a lovely little boy looking for a home he can call his own. He is an affectionate kitten that doesn’t like too much noise so would be more suited to a family with older children or an adult-only household. He would like to be an indoor cat with a warm sofa to curl up on and perhaps the opportunity to explore outside during the day once he has settled in and been neutered. It would be nice for him to have another playful cat or kitten to share his new home with. Neil will make a fantastic pet in the right home and will be a rewarding addition to the household. Neil & his sister Sinead were rescued from a busy road having been dumped. Thankfully they were unharmed but we have no way of knowing if there were other siblings not so lucky. They were carrying a huge worm burden and after treatment and plenty of good food they perked right up.

Robin

Robin

Robin is a fun little lady looking for a active family to take her home. She is very sweet and loves meeting people. She would suit a family who love the great outdoors and would love a little Russell to join their family. She is good with other dogs and could fit in well to a home with another dog provided they are properly introduced & tested at the NAC first. She will require a secure garden and lots of exercise, play and mental stimulation. If you can provide her with these she will give you back tenfold all the love she has to offer.

Roxy

Roxy

Roxy is a lovely little lady in need of lots of TLC. She is quite nervous and would ideally need a home with no children or older kids used to dogs. She would need canine company and a confident family pet would be ideal for her to learn from and gain trust and confidence. She is not yet lead trained but it is a work in progress and we endeavour to have this done prior to adoption. She must have a fully fenced garden, very secure where she can go out and you can feel confident she is safe & secure. She desperately needs a second chance and a little love and kindness in her life, can you help her?

Macbeth

Macbeth is an extremely friendly and affectionate kitten. He will climb onto your lap at every opportunity and loves to be cuddled. Like all kittens he is also very playful and would be suited to a family home where he can be showered with love and attention. He needs to be an indoor cat, preferably with access to the outside once he has settled in and be neutered. Paddy

Paddy

Paddy is a very handsome lad looking for a second chance. He is very social with other cats; he loves to run around and play with them, and we would like him to be rehomed with his last remaining sibling, Pippin. However he is very shy and scared around humans. He will need a patient home where he can settle and come forward in his own time. Paddy would suit being an outdoor/farm cat where he does not feel pressured and can come and go as he pleases but he must be kept inside until he is neutered and is used to his new location. He must be provided with a good quality cat food and a warm, dry, safe bed in his new home. Paddy and her siblings were found by one of our volunteers who kindly looked after them until they were ready to be weaned from their mother and put up for adoption.

Paddy is currently in the care of the ISPCA National Animal Centre

Mario

Mario

Mario is a stunning, laid-back black cat. He is very affectionate and loves attention from the staff and volunteers here. He would make a fantastic family pet. He is social with other cats so could be rehomed into a multi-cat household but would also do well on his own. He needs to be an indoor cat, preferably with access to the outside during the day. Mario is an ideal pet with so much love to give to new owners. He is litter trained and very clean and ready for a new home as soon as possible. Mario is one of a large group of cats brought to the NAC by a member of our Inspectorate. All were being neglected and kept in unsuitably small cages with little human interaction.

Cian

Cian

Cian is an absolutely gorgeous young cat. Because of his start in life he is a little wary of strangers but once he knows that you mean him no harm he becomes the most affectionate and friendly cat. He would be the perfect pet for an adult household or a family with older children. He loves being rubbed and given lots of attention but he also loves to play and would make a brilliant mouser. We would very much like for him to be rehomed with his pod-mate, Nessa, who has a very similar temperament. It would be great if he was homed as an indoor cat with access outside during the day but he could be an outdoor/farm cat provided he is well fed and has a safe, warm, dry bed to sleep in. Nessa

Nessa is a very pretty young girl. Because of her start in life she is a little shy of people at the moment but you can see how desperately she wants to be brave enough to approach you when her pod-mate, Cian, is being given cuddles and rubs. She is also a very playful girl and would be an entertaining addition to the household. She needs a quiet and patient home, preferably with Cian, where she can be given the time she needs to gain in confidence and become the loving and affectionate cat we know she can be. Bella

Bella

Bella is a gorgeous little lady looking for her own family to love her. She is currently nursing kittens and is a fantastic mother. She is so sweet and will make a wonderful pet. She would be a lovely companion for a retired person looking for some feline company. We would love her to be rehomed in a home that can offer her lots of attention. Bella is an indoor cat but would like access to outdoors during the day. She is social with other cats and kittens but is also very happy to be on her own. She is litter trained and very clean and will be ready for a new home once her kittens are weaned and she has been neutered. Bella was abandoned like so many cats and kittens all around the country. Thankfully she was reported abandoned and on investigation an inspectorate brought her to the centre where she subsequently gave birth to a litter of kittens.

Blaze

Blaze

Blaze is a gorgeous kitten who would love a home shared with one of his pod-mates to give him some companionship and a playmate. He is a very playful kitten who loves his toys. While he can be a little shy of people when he first meets them, if you spend a little time quietly with him he soon settles in your presence. It won’t take him long to become an affectionate and loving pet. He would suit a quieter home with older children where he can be allowed to settle in at his own pace with no pressure. Blaze is one of a group of kittens brought to the National Animal Centre by one of our Inspectors. All were suffering with very severe cat flu on arrival and it was touch or go whether they would survive. Thankfully they all pulled through and are now ready for adoption.

Ashra

Ashra

Ashra is a very gentle but timid kitten. Due to her background she does not have a lot of trust in humans and is looking for some patient and loving owners to help show her that we are not all bad. Given some time and space in a new home she is bound to become a loyal and affectionate adult. We would like her to be rehomed with one of her more confident pod-mates to give her a bit of guidance and support in her new environment. Like all kittens she is very playful and likes nothing more than dashing around her pod with her toys and the other kittens. Ashra is one of a group of kittens brought to the National Animal Centre by one of our Inspectors. Moe

Moe

MOE is looking for a HOME. This big bouncy boxer cross is Moe. He came into the care of the KWWSPCA along with another dog Minnie (who ia posted here separately) from fairly unfortunate circumstances where they didn’t have much space or interaction with other dogs. Moe can sometimes be quite dominant towards Minnie and hence we are looking to re-home them separately so that they can both flourish. We think Moe should be homed as an only dog as he has not been socialised around other dogs (apart from Minnie) and can be quite aggressive towards small dogs. He is strong on the lead and will need some basic training but he is an intelligent dog and is picking up commands quite quickly. Moe absolutely loves people and loves human contact; he just wants to give you a hug and cover you in sloppy licks! If you would be interested in re-homing Moe or for more information about him, please call/text 087 1279835 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). An experienced owner of larger dog breeds would be preferred and a home check will be required. We ask for a rehoming fee of €100 when we rehome a dog to partly cover their veterinary and other costs.

Chips is a lovely friendly girl who was found covered in cooking oil, hence the name. Lewis

Lewis is a lovely boy. He adores playing with and snuggling up to his siblings. While he is a little bit shy of people at the moment due to his difficult start in life we are sure with a little bit of time and patience in his new home he will grow into a loving adult cat. Three Terrier Cross Puppies

Three Terrier Cross Puppies

All three pups are male and whilst we are not sure of their exact age, as they came from a rescue situation, we think they are about 8 weeks old. They are very sweet and friendly little pups, loving nothing more than being cuddled. As they are young, they will of course need patient, understanding owners who will invest time in their basic training and provide a secure garden for them to run around in. As we keep stressing, they are very cute pups now but they will grow up and they must be seen as a long-term commitment! If you would like to offer one of these pups a home, then please private message us through our Facebook page, call/text 087 1279835 (reasonable hours only) or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Or you can meet them at our KWWSPCA animal shelter, which is on the road from Athgarvan to Twomilehouse (just outside Newbridge) and open every day (apart from Sundays) to visitors from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. A home check will be required and we ask for a rehoming fee of €100 which will include the cost of future neutering.

We would love for her to be rehomed with one of her pod-mates for company and to give her a little bit of support. She would be suited to an outdoor home once she is neutered as long as she is provided with good food and a safe, warm bed to curl up in but it would be nice for her to have the option to come indoors also. Mary

Mary

Mary is a stunning young cat. She is a little nervous of people at first but if you go quietly to her she loves a bit of attention. She is a great mother and has raised 4 healthy kittens in our care and now needs a home where she can have some ‘me’ time. She would suit being an indoor cat with access outside once she has settled into her new home but she could also be an outdoor cat provided she has a safe, warm bed and is given a good-quality food. Mary will be ready to go to her new home once all her kittens are weaned and she has been neutered. Mary and her kittens were brought to the centre along with a number of other cats when the babies were very young by a member of our Inspectorate. Chevie

Chevie

Chevie is a very friendly and affectionate kitten. He loves to be made a fuss of and is playful too. He would be a great family cat. We would love for him to be rehomed with one of his pod-mates for company and a playmate. He requires an indoor home preferably with access to outside once he is of age and has been neutered. Chevie will no doubt make a very fun an loving pet once he has settled into a new home. Chevie is one of a group of kittens brought to the National Animal Centre by one of our Inspectors. All were suffering with very severe cat flu on arrival and it was touch or go whether they would survive. Thankfully they all pulled through and are now ready for adoption.

Edgar

Edgar

Edgar is a very tiny bundle of fun and mischief, he is well handled and socialised. He loves to play with other dogs and sleeps through the night in his crate, as he is so young he will need on going training. Edgar would suit a family with older children or a couple without children. He is very independent, full of curiosity and loves to cuddle up on a warm lap to sleep. Edgar will be a small dog when fully grown, he must be allowed to live indoors as part of a family and will need plenty of exercise when old enough. He should not be left alone for long periods as he is only a baby. Edgar has been wormed and vaccinated.

Edgar is currently in the care of the Offaly S.P.C.A

Foxy

Foxy

Foxy is a stunning kitten who is looking for a loving home to spend his life in. He is a very friendly kitten who loves his playtime and being cuddled and stroked when he’s in a quiet mood. We would love to rehome him with his brother, Mittens, for company as they love to curl up and sleep together. Foxy would suit almost any indoor home where he has the freedom to explore outside once he is old enough and has been neutered. He is bound to be a very rewarding and much-loved addition to the family. Foxy and his siblings were brought to the centre with their mother and a number of other cats when they were very young by a member of our Inspectorate. All the cats were being neglected and kept in unsuitably small cages with very little room to move around.

Damon

Damon

Damon is quite a timid kitten who would suit an undemanding home where he can do his own thing. He would be an excellent mouser and it would be great for him to be rehomed with one of his siblings for company. All he needs is a safe, warm bed to sleep in and good quality food to keep him healthy. It is possible that once he settles into his new home and gains in confidence he may become more people friendly. He will need to be kept inside in his new home until he is neutered. Damon, his siblings and his mother were callously dumped and left to fend for themselves when the kittens were just a few weeks old.

Venus is a very pretty little kitten. She is quite timid at the moment and does not approach people but seems to enjoy attention if you go to her. Linda is an absolutely stunning cat. She is a little shy around people but does like some attention on her own terms. Ada

Ada is a very sweet playful little lady. She has been neglected and continuously bred from all her life, never having a kind touch or love but since she arrived at the centre pregnant she has come on leaps and bounds and turned into a loving affectionate little dog. She is super with other dogs and particularly loves her best friend Jessie. Both these ladies raised each others babies and this big family unit thrived. Ada will soon be neutered and ready to start her own second chance. She would be ideal for a home secure fencing, another dogs for company, preferably Jessie and lots of TLC. She would be fine in a home with children provided they are a little older and used to dogs, preferably 8+. Can you can give this lovely lady the home she very much deserves
