Phoebe is a lovely female pointer who was found with another male pointer recently and came into our care after doing her time in the pound. As she is a pure breed pointer we think she may have been dumped due to being gun shy. She is a lively, bouncy girl but is very intelligent, and with some ongoing training will make a fantastic pet. She can walk on the lead but will need a little training there as she tends to weave a little bit. She does not appear to be house trained therefore you would need to be prepared to put a little effort in there...she should learn very quikcly, though, as she is a clever girl. She is spayed, chipped and vaccinated and can be seen at our shelter in athgarvan. We ask for a minimum of €130 donataion to partly offset veterinary expenses and a homecheck applies. a license is required to complete an adoption. Contact 0871279835.

Phoebe is currently in the care of the.. Kildare and West Wicklow S.P.C.A

All cats and dogs from the Kildare & West Wicklow SPCA are fully vaccinated, treated for worms & fleas and neutered (when of age). Dogs from the pound will also be microchipped. We request a rehoming fee of €100 for adult dogs & €75 for pups to partly offset our vet costs. A dog licence must be purchased for any dog originating from the pound'
