PADDY has come into the care of the KWWSPCA from the Kildare Dog Pound. He is about 4 - 5 years old and is a male collie. He loves attention, loves his walks and will make a great dog in the right home. Paddy does not need a huge amount of exercise and prefers getting short walks as he has a little bit of arthritis in his hips. He loves to be with people and tends to keep very close by your side when he is out walking. He loves rubs and plenty of attention, and is a very affectionate boy. He would be best going to a home where there are no other dogs and where there are no young children. PADDY has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. If you would like to meet PADDY, he can be visited at the KWWSPCA Shelter Monday-Saturday from 2-4 pm or at other times by calling 087 1279835. We ask for an adoption fee of €130 when we rehome a dog to partly cover their veterinary and other costs, and a home check is needed. A dog licence will be required before the adoption can be completed. This can be obtained from the Post Office or on line from your County Council.
All cats and dogs from the Kildare & West Wicklow SPCA are fully vaccinated, treated for worms & fleas and neutered (when of age). Dogs from the pound will also be microchipped. We request a rehoming fee of €100 for adult dogs & €75 for pups to partly offset our vet costs. A dog licence must be purchased for any dog originating from the pound'
