Nell

Nell is a very quiet and nervous little dog. Her past experience has not offered her much in the way of loving human contact, so she is still only learning to trust people. We are hopeful that with some training and careful handling, we can turn Nell into the lovely dog we think she can be. She needs a house with adults only, and maybe another friendly dog who can both serve as her friend and also as a mentor who will teach her to trust people and gain confidence. She is still learning to walk on a lead, and will require ongoing training even after rehoming in this area to give her a good chance to shine. She is fully vaccinated and will soon be neutered. We will test her with other dogs, and eventually cats to improve her social skills and give her all the opportunities she deserves, to start fresh. Can you give Nell the TLC she needs to flourish in a new loving home? BACKGROUND: Nell was removed from a property where he was accompanied by over thirty other dogs in unsuitable living conditions. She was nervous of people and underweight from inadequate care, but is slowly improving since her arrival at the NAC.
