We are now taking expressions of interest in Esme's puppies who are 6 weeks old and will be ready to go to new homes in two weeks time. Their mother is a terrier and father unknown, but they could possibly be collie/terrier cross. We cannot say how big they will grow to be. They will need a home with a secure garden where somebody is home most of the day to look after and train them. They need to be house trained and lead trained, and need an owner who will give them the gentle guidance that a puppy needs. They would be best suited in a home where there are no small children. These puppies will have their first vaccination before rehoming and will need to be kept in their own new home until they get their second vaccination which is done on the kwwspca account. We also need a firm commitment from the new owner that they will get their puppy spayed or neutered at 6 months, once again this is done on the kwwspca account using one of the vets with whom we have an account. The puppies will be chipped before going to their new homes. We ask for a minimum donation of €130 to partly offset veterinary expenses, a collar tag and licence are required to complete the adoption and a home visit will apply. To express interest please email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or contact 0871279835. We will assess all expressions of interest in order to find the most suitable home.
