My perfect home: Ivy is a stunning inquisitive, gregarious little pony looking for her chance of a happy home with an experienced and patient new owner. She loves attention and is always looking over your shoulder when you’re working with the other horses and ponies in the yard. She enjoys being groomed and is happy to be caught in the field. She is getting used to the stable routine and is calmer and less stressed so she is improving immensely. Staff and volunteers work with her daily gaining her trust and confidence. She was nervous when she first arrived but her confidence is improving so much. Ivy has a lovely temperament and will make a smashing little pony in the right home. She will need a 1-2 acre paddock with secure fencing where she has access to adequate shelter like a stable or field shelter during the winter months. My story: Ivy was rescued by an ISPCA Inspector when she was dumped with her mother in a field with a stallion. She had received hardly any handling so through a gentle approach and lots of patience, she is a different little pony. If you can offer her the dream home she deserves, we would love to hear from you.
