Seven Puppies Found Alive in Fertiliser Bag

On Monday 19th October, a member of public found the terrible discovery of 7 live newborn puppies discarded in a fertilizer bag, in a remote area of Garrymore near Ballindine, Co. Mayo.    The puppies although freezing cold and  distressed were lucky to be found so quickly after being abandoned, and are now making good progress with a dedicated foster carer at Mayo SPCA.

There is absolutely no need for unwanted pups to be born and disposed of in this cruel and callous manner.  If you witness an animal/s being subjected to cruel treatment, please notify your local Gardai and contact the ISPCA National Animal Helpline on 1890 515 515.  Please help us stop the mistreatment of animals.
