We are delighted that the Association of Irish Riding Clubs (AIRC) is partnering with the ISPCA to help us raise money to upgrade our equine facilities at the ISPCA National Animal Centre in Co. Longford and the ISPCA Equine Rescue Centre, Mallow Co. Cork. AIRC members can, in 2017 hold a charity ride that will help cruelly treated, neglected and abused horses and ponies rescued by the ISPCA. It is also a nice opportunity for members of the equestrian world to participate in a fun event for a good cause through their clubs across the country.
The charity ride can be organised at local clubs with donations going towards two dedicated equine projects replacing stable doors at the ISPCA National Animal Centre in Longford and upgrading the equine isolation facilities at the ISPCA Equine Rescue Centre in Mallow. The ISPCA rescues abused horses and ponies that are often nervous when they arrive at our Centres and our stable doors have taken a lot of punishment over the years. Our equine isolation facilities in Mallow also need to be upgraded and we need to raise €15,000 in total to support both of these projects.
We would be delighted if your local AIRC club would participate or if you would like to get involved please get in touch with our fundraising team at firstname.lastname@example.org or call Carole or Rebecca on (043) 33 25035 (3) for more information.
