Ways you can help

For over 60 years, the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA) works tirelessly rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing cruelly treated and neglected animals.

During the course of 2011, the dedicated ISPCA Animal Cruelty Help line received over 12,000 calls relating to incidents of cruelty or neglect to animals. Of these calls 2,239 were reports that required follow up visits from ISPCA Inspectors, and in many cases resulted in the Inspectorate uncovering acts of severe cruelty and neglect. The ISPCA exists to end cruelty to animals.  We want to make ending cruelty to animals the defining cause of our time.

The ISPCA rely on the generosity of the Irish public for 95% of our funding.  Widespread funding cuts for all government services are anticipated for 2012, making the ISPCA even more reliant on the generosity of the Irish public for funding. ~We can't help them without you~
