Bridget, a 20+ year old Connemara has found a great new home and a new best friend called Dshamilja. Sadly she was left behind at Ballinasloe Horse Fair and was transported to the ISPCA National Animal Centre for veterinary assessment as she was underweight. She has a gorgeous temperament and settled in well with the other horses and ponies at the Centre. She started to gain weight gradually and we were delighted when we were contacted by a member of the public looking for a companion for their elderly horse. This was a match made in heaven and they even share food from the same bucket. Although Bridget was still a little underweight when rehomed, her experienced new owners wanted to take her to nurse her over the winter and she is receiving lots of personal attention.
We have some stunning horses, ponies and donkeys waiting for their chance of a happy home so if you have room in your stable, get in touch or plan a visit to come and see us. http://www.ispca.ie/rehoming/horses_rehoming/Viewed 899 times.
