Golf Classic
The Golf Classic held at Mallow Golf Club on Thursday the 11th August in aid of the ISPCA Victor Dowling Equine Rescue Centre, located in Mallow, was a resounding success.
‘A fantastic day was had by all’ commented Sara Lane the event organiser. The funds raised, by the dedicated and hard working volunteers of the committee, will be greatly appreciated by the many animals that have been rescued from cruel and neglectful situations.
ISPCA spokesperson Barbara Bent praised the groups efforts, ‘The work that has gone into organising an event of this calibre cannot be underestimated. The ISPCA is very grateful to all involved with organising and supporting the event.’ The golf classic raised an astounding €4,000 which will be of huge support in helping with the vital improvements at the equine centre.
