FAQ's for Questions on Fish
One of our goldfish has gotten very large in the abdomen, and we think she is pregnant. It's been four to six weeks since she started getting really huge so we have separated her from the rest of the fish. Do we just let nature take it's course? Or is there something we should do?
I have bought a new goldfish and was told by the shop that I only need to change the water every 2 months as there is a filter. However I have had differing advice and am inclined to do it weekly. Am I right? Also am I right in saying that I should feed them once a day? What is the best time?
Having just acquired a goldfish, I've had various advice on things like ammonium and chlorine levels in the water. If I was to purchase a water filter/pump, need I worry about such things?
