Mary Byrne visits the ISPCA National Animal Centre

The ISPCA was thrilled to welcome singer and X Factor star Mary Byrne to the ISPCA National Animal Centre for a visit but we were also saddened to hear that Mary’s 19 year old cat Pushai had recently passed away.

Mary spent some time in our cattery bringing lots of love and attention and of course some songs to entertain all the cats and kittens in our care.

We were happy to be able to present Mary with a beautifully framed photo of her cat Pushai that was taken at the Secret Life of Pets project thanks to Universal Pictures Ireland.

The ISPCA has currently over 80 adorable cats and kittens looking for good homes and you can visit us Wednesday’s to Sunday's between 11:30 and 4pm.  Check out our website where you will see lots of adorable cats and kittens looking for loving new homes http://www.ispca.ie/rehoming/cats_rehoming/

Mary is really capturing the hearts of the nation on RTE’s Operation Transformation https://ot.rte.ie/ and we will be tuning to watch her achieve her goals.

Mary hopes to return to the ISPCA for a visit when she is ready to adopt a new best friend and we look forward to welcoming her back to the National Animal Centre.
