Your Guinea Pig
A guinea pig needs:
- To be with other guinea pigs
- Fresh food and fresh clean water every day and something to gnaw on
- A big hutch to live in, with a room for sleeping
- A home to be kept clean and tidy
- To be brushed every day if it has long hair
- Soft straw and wood shavings for beddings
- A mixture of hay, cereal and washed fruit and fresh vegetables
- A hutch to be kept somewhere inside when it is cold, and in the shade when it is hot and sunny
- To be looked after at holiday times
- To be handled with care
