The Inspectorate provide a service in the following counties

3. Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim North
4. Longford, Roscommon and Leitrim South
5. Cork
-
In the 13 counties covered by our existing Inspectors we have seen a steady increase in the number of calls to the dedicated ISPCA Helpline by members of the public reporting instances of cruelty or neglect.
-
In 2007, almost 6,000 calls were logged with the National Animal Helpline, where necessary the calls were passed to members of the ISPCA Inspectorate and referred to other agencies and organisations.
-
The ISPCA Inspectorate also provides advice, support and training to our network of affiliated member societies that operate in the areas in which we are unable to provide personnel.
Our two centres support the ISPCA Inspectorate with the rescue, rehabilitation and responsible rehoming of cruelly treated and neglected animals.
