The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Kilkenny / Carlow Dog Warden Service Control of Dogs Act 1986 As a result of the ongoing development of the Kilkenny/Carlow Dog Warden Service we are recruiting for the following temporary position:ISPCA Dog Warden Service Kennel Assistant (part-time)
Candidates must be educated to a satisfactory standard.
Good communication, organisational and administration skills required.
Candidates should have a broad knowledge of canine care and welfare.
Must be willing to work as part of a team.
Dog handling experience essential.
Good standard of general fitness.
Full clean driving licence required.

As a result of the ongoing development of the ISPCA Victor Dowling Equine Rescue Centre, Dromsligo, Mallow, Co. Cork, we are seeking a suitably qualified person for the following position.
Resident Equine Care Assistant
Candidates must have sound and practical knowledge of Equine animal welfare together with the following:
• Equine qualification and/or experience of working within a veterinary/animal welfare environment an advantage.
• Excellent communication, organisational and administration skills required.
• Candidates must be willing to work as part of a team and work a rostered system
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Full clean driving licence necessary.
• Applicants should have a keen interest in animal welfare
There is a requirement for the successful applicant to reside on-site (dwelling house provided). The remuneration for this position will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
