Adopt an Animal
If you are interested in adopting an animal from us please call us on 043 3325035 and a member of staff will advise you of the adoption process and relevant fees for animals. Before any animal is adopted a member of staff or volunteer will visit you in your home. Financial Support
The ISPCA welcomes corporate and private donations to assist in defraying the cost of the National Animal Centre. Please view our Donation section.
Volunteers and Foster Carers
We are presently looking for volunteer dog walkers who can give time to help us walk and groom the dogs who are resident at the National Animal Centre. If you feel you have the time to become a Home Visit volunteer, courses are held regularly throughout the year. If you are interested please call the National Animal Centre on 043 3325035. Please note volunteers must be over 17 years of age.
The National Animal Centre in Derryglogher Lodge, Keenagh, Co. Longford, is in need of many volunteers to help with all species of animals who will find sanctuary there. If you are interested in volunteering for Derryglogher Lodge, please contact info@ispca.ie with your Name, Address, Phone, Email, Age and detailing experience you have in working with animals.
Local SPCAs throughout the country are constantly in need of volunteers and foster carers - to help out at kennels and clinics, to assist in rehoming an animal, maybe fostering an animal while waiting for a good home, and to run and support fundraising events.
