Guard Dog Registration
Control of Dogs Act, 1986 (Guard Dogs) Regulations, 1988

Under the above legislation it is the responsibility of the owner of any registered guard dog kennels to register their dogs with the ISPCA and to inform the ISPCA of any changes that may occur. The ISPCA maintains the National Guard Dog Register on behalf of the Department of the Environment.
 
Any person/company using guard dogs are required under the Control of Dogs Act 1986, (Guard Dogs) Regulations 1988, are required to register the kennels with the Local council.

Download Guard dog registration form here (insert form) and send it to ISPCA Head office, National Animal Centre, Derryglogher Lodge, Keenagh, Co. Longford.
